How Do I Transfer Funds from My Robinhood Account?

If you have a Robinhood account then you will sometimes need to transfer money out of that account. If you want to withdraw it to your bank, you will first need to link your bank and Robinhood accounts. You can do all this online or by using the Robinhood app. You can also transfer money to another brokerage using an ACATS transfer, which the other brokerage must initiate.

How to Transfer Money to another Brokerage

You can also take money out of your Robinhood account and send it to another brokerage by using the Automated Customer Account Transfer Service, or ACATS. Before you can do so, though, you need to get any restrictions on your account lifted. Once you do, contact the other brokerage and say that you want to initiate an ACATS transfer. That brokerage will contact Robinhood's clearing firm, which will handle the transfer. Robinhood cannot initiate the process itself.

Contacting Robinhood

If you have any questions about transfers out of your Robinhood account, contact a Robinhood customer service representative for help. To do so, you must use the help forum. There is no customer service phone line or any other online customer service contact options.
