You may also use Kindle for reading blogs, playing games, and more. Amazon allows you to reset your password if you forgot it. Follow these steps to recover your password and regain access to your account;

1. Go to the log in option

2. Find the option 'Forgot Your Password' and click on it

3. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to complete the process

4. Once you reset your password, it becomes active immediately. You can continue to use your Kindle account

If you changed your phone number or email address, contact the support team and ask them to help you reset your password and recover your account.

If You Forgot Your Kindle Passcode

If you don't remember your passcode, you may need to reset your device. The process will remove all your Wi-Fi settings, Amazon account information, personal information, and downloaded content.

Resetting the passcode for your Kindle e-reader model 6th generation or newer

1. Click on the passcode field

2. Type in the numbers 111222777

3. Click 'Ok'

Resetting Kindle Keyboard (third-generation) or Kindle (fifth generation)

1. Click on the passcode field and type 'resetmykindle"

2. Press 'Enter'

If you bought anything from Amazon, it is saved to the cloud. You can re-download it after you register your Kindle. If your purchases are not saved in the cloud, you must transfer them before you reset your Kindle.
