How Do I Track My Ikea Order?

When you place an order from IKEA, they will provide you with an order tracking number. However, it may take some time for the tracking information to become available. Based on your order status, you can track your order from your profile or with the help of IKEA customer service.

IKEA is a furniture store based in Sweden that allows you to customize and assemble your own furniture. They have hundreds of furniture designs you can choose from or you can come up with one yourself.

When you order a piece of unassembled furniture from IKEA, you have the chance to track the order until it arrives at its destination. You can know where your order is at any time through IKEA's order tracking feature.

However, you should first know the basic elements of IKEA's order policy. It will help you when trying to track your order.

IKEA Order Policy

First and foremost, you should know that it can take up to 12 hours for an IKEA order to be recognized by their system. Therefore, you should not worry about the order status until that grace period is over.

For some orders, IKEA might send some parts of your order form one warehouse and the rest from another warehouse. Such a case is referred to as a split delivery.

It prevents you from waiting too long for your delivery if it were to come from one warehouse. The parts of the order might take different journey but they will be enroute to the same destination.

The good news is that IKEA allows you to track split delivery orders as well.

Before you start tracking your order, you should first understand what your order status means. If it states 'order created' it means that IKEA have received your order and will begin processing it soon.

If the order status is 'order picked' then it means that your order is ready to be shipped to you. If it states 'order dispatched' then the order has been shipped by IKEA and is on its way to you.

If your order is 'ready for collection' then it means that the order is ready for you to collect it from the pick-up point or store you selected while making the order.

A 'order delivered/collected' order status means that your order has been successfully delivered to and picked up by you. A 'failed delivery' order status means that you either cancelled your order or delivery was not successful for some reason.

If the order status is 'cancelled' it means that it has been permanently removed from IKEA's system.

Based on the status of your order, you can proceed to track your order. If not, you should contact IKEA to get assistance with your order.

Tracking Your Order

There are two ways in which you can track your IKEA order. Whenever you complete an order from IKEA, they will provide you with a web reference order number or a tracking number.

The number is what will help you get real time information on your order. On the other hand, you should note that it may take up to 24 hours for your tracking data to become available.

The first way you can track your order is by the following process:

1. Launch your web browser and open the IKEA website.

2. Log in to your IKEA account.

3. Go to your profile page.

4. Go to 'My Orders.'

5. Locate and select the order that you want to track.

6. Based on the order status, you will find the 'track order' option next to the order. Click it and you will be able to track your order.

The second process involves the following steps:

1. Launch your web browser and open the IKEA website.

2. Scroll to the bottom and click 'Customer Service.'

3. On the customer service page, scroll down until you see the 'Track Order' tab.

4. Input the order tracking number when prompted and you will be able to track your order.

If you have any issues tracking your order, you should contact IKEA customer service.
