Have you lost or accidentally deleted your Facebook posts? You can recover them in a few minutes. With Facebook's Manage Activity Feature, the process of retrieving hidden or deleted posts on Facebook has been simplified.

Using the Manage Activity Feature

If you deleted a post using the Manage Activity feature for Facebook, you have up to 30 days to retrieve it. However, the feature cannot help you delete a post right from your news feed. It is currently available only on the mobile app. Follow these steps to recover a post from the Manage Activity feature.

1. Open your Facebook profile page on the mobile app and click on "More."

2. Click "Activity Log" and then "Manage Activity."

3. Click "Your Posts." You can delete a post by selecting it and then tapping on "Trash."

4. Click "Move to Trash" and your post will be deleted. Once your post is deleted from the timeline, it will be moved to "Manage Activity Trash."

5. When trying to retrieve the deleted post, click on "More >Activity Log>Trash" at the top menu.

6. You should be able to see all posts that were deleted through "Manage Activity" within the last 30 days.

7. Click on the post you wish to recover and tap "Restore."

8. Confirm that the post is back on your timeline.

Canceling Your Account Deletion

If you accidentally deleted your account, or changed your mind within 30 days, you can undo it. Undoing the deletion will restore your media and posts. Log in to your account trough the web browser or Facebook app and click on the option "Cancel Deletion."

If you wait more than 30 days, it may be impossible to undo the deletion. You may have to create a different Facebook account.

Other Tips to Recover Hidden and Deleted Posts on Facebook

If you have no other ways to recover your posts on Facebook, here are a few helpful strategies:

1. Find the Original Post

If you had shared a post from someone else's page, you can find and share it again. The search function makes it easy to track down any content you want. Use keywords from the text or title of the post to make it easier to find.

2. Check Emails

Yours and your friends' emails may help you find deleted Facebook posts. If you enabled email notifications for Facebook posts, you probably have a copy of the deleted post in your email inbox. If you can remember a few words from the post, search them in your inbox.

If you have friends that enabled email notifications too, they may have received notifications for the post. Ask them to check their emails, especially if you mentioned or tagged them.

3. Contacting the Customer Service Team

If you need help, there are a few ways to contact Facebook for help. The customer service team is available on the phone, live chat, and email. There are six help forums, and they are the best options for seeking support. They cover most issues that you may face and answer frequently asked questions.

From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our How Do I Retrieve a Hidden or Deleted Facebook Post? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible.
