Check if the Email Address You're Checking is the One Registered With Amazon

Do you use multiple email addresses? If so, please ensure the email address you're checking is the email associated with your Amazon account. If you can't find any emails from Amazon, you may be checking the wrong email address.

Check Your Spam Folder

If the confirmation email isn't in your inbox, it might be in your spam folder. Check and other email folders, as the confirmation email from Amazon may be in one of those folders.

You may also want to check other filters in your email, such as 'Updates' or 'Promotions'. The confirmation email likely went straight to those filters.

If you still can't find your email, proceed to the next steps.

Sign in to Your Amazon Account

Log in using the email address associated with your Amazon account, then click Continue.

Click Returns and Orders

The Returns and Orders section is where you can view all orders you made with Amazon. If you haven't received an email from them, check whether it's in your account on the website, and the order has been processed.

Check the Orders Tab

You can view all of your orders in the Orders tab. If you have just placed an order, check the 'Not Yet Shipped' section to see if the order has been processed. If it's still not there, it's possible that the order wasn't completed, or Amazon didn't accept your payment method.

If you still can't find any proof of purchase from Amazon, we recommend checking your bank. Did Amazon charge you? If so, please prepare any proof of transaction, such as a credit card statement or bank transaction, and contact Amazon so they can assist in resolving the issue.

Conclusion

If you have multiple accounts, check them all to see if the order was placed on your other Amazon account. The process is the same: sign back in to your account and go to the Orders tab to check the item you just purchased. When you still can't find any trace of the order, it's time to contact Amazon Support. Click your Profile and go to Payments. Select the issue you need help with and follow the on-screen instructions to submit the case to Amazon. Allow them to investigate and process your refund. Still have questions? Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Amazon Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
