My Experience Calling 800-762-2530

This phone number for Zynga is mostly for billing help. When you call, you get an automated menu with options for gameplay and technical support or billing support. If you choose technical support, you only get a recording. It gives you the web address for their online support page and says that Zynga and its related companies don't offer phone support for technical issues. It also says that the billing specialists are not trained to help with anything besides billing. They apologize for any inconvenience and then return you to the main menu.

Choosing the option for billing support actually gets you to a human agent. After a recording encouraging you to find support online, it transfers you. I was only on hold for a few seconds before a rep answered. He immediately asked for my email address. He was difficult to hear; there was a lot of background noise and he sounded muffled. They're able to help with some basic billing issues but don't provide much support otherwise.

For a lot of mobile game issues, they tell you to go through your app store (the Apple store or Google Play). Payments are processed through there, so usually they can get you a refund or sort out other issues. Some of Zynga's games are available through a web browser, though. For those, you'll probably need to call this number. 

Most of Zynga's support resources are on their website. The support site has you choose which game you need help with. There's no general support information; you have to select a game to get any further. Once you do, it takes you to a knowledge base with help articles for gameplay issues, technical support, billing questions, account help, and tips for the games.
