Calling this number wasn't effective at all, because there's no real way to get through the chokepoint on this number. When I dialed, I was asked if I was calling for online web support and told that all other calls should remain on the line.

I said that I wanted to get information, and I was told that we would need to pull up my account. I was asked to provide my account number, and I said that I didn't have one. The system didn't accept that and tried asking a different way. After asking three times and getting nowhere, the system told me that it would try to ask me another way.

It then asked me if I would enter my Social Security number. I was unwilling to do this and gave no reply. The system again tried to get me to do it, with me providing the initial response of refusing to do so. After the third attempt, the system told me that it could not assist me if it could not collect that information from me. When I still wouldn't provide it, the system exited the call.

Based on this, I would not use this number unless you're willing to give out personal information. The system's chokepoint appears ironclad, so unless you're a customer or physician, there's no real reason to use this number.
