The one thing that the automated system does allow you to do is request a link to get to the website. If you do, the system asks you to enter your phone number where you want the link sent. Once you do, the system will send you the link and hang up after that. The link does work as intended, and if you have a smart device, you can even scan the serial tag and go straight to the website to get direct assistance with your appliance.
The link is also helpful for people who don't have easy access to the internet, as it offers appliance manuals, maintenance videos and ways to schedule service. Given that not everyone has easy access to the internet, this is a strong option for people who need appliance help outside of the Monday through Friday schedule and call on weekends.
If you do call on a weekend, you won't have any luck in getting through. The phone lines are only operational from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern on Monday through Friday, and if you call outside of those times, you're only able to interact with the automated system and request a link to online services.
