I got an email that seems like phishing, but I'm not sure. It's from *A*****@***.com**and it says:*AT&T Yahoo** *Dear User, * *The Classic version of your Mail will be replaced by our new version on * (June) ****. So it's time to upgrade, before you lose your email access. * *Log-in Restore* *Protecting your information is important to us and we work continuously to strengthen our defenses against the threats targeting our Financial Institution.**Thanks for choosing Yahoo! Inc.**Disclaimer:- This email, attachments and any information contained therein is intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom it is addressed and may be confidential and*or privileged data of Synechron. How GetHuman-irose fixed the problem
Apparently that was phishing, but I got scared so tried to access at&t mail. I could not get thhrough and tried to change my passwordl. No luck after lots and lots of tries. Finally I phoned at&t tech support and just waited and waited while the automaton asked me irrelevant questions. Finally spoke with a human technician who led me through to success. The problem appaently was that my prio password did not contain a capital letter, something that the earlier email procedure had not required. Done and done.
