I want the president of your company to see this complaint so I'm going too send them a copy of this email as well. On *-**-**** , I called your company to order a part for my Whirlpool ** gallon hot water heater , which has a lifetime warranty. The temperature sensor went bad so the fellow I talked to at approx. *:** or so pm that Wednesday night told me that he would overnight it to me and it would ship on May ** ( Thursday ) and that I should receive it on Friday at the latest. So Friday came and I didn't get my part. I waited until that night just to make sure that it wasn't coming or running late and I called back. Your employee response was that he couldn't look it up because the computer system was down. I then called Saturday morning *-**-**** at * am and was told to call back at **:** am. I call back at **:** and some other guy gives me a tracking number for UPS. I looked on line and it wasn't a valid number. So I called back and spoke to a female who was very RUDE to me and wouldn't answer my questions. She said when I explained that the first time I called that the guy told me that it would ship on the **th (Thursday ) and it didn't she said "YEP " he did say that. When I told her my tracking number that I was given the first time she told me there was only one * in it. I looked it up and it said my part would be delivered on Tuesday the **st!. She said that she had no control over UPS and asked if there was anything else she could do for me. I immediately asked to speak to her supervisor because I wanted an answer as to why I was lied to about " OVERNIGHT SHIPPING "! I told her that overnight meant overnight not * days later and her reply was " Well at least they waived the shipping! " I told her that my water heater had a lifetime warranty and it wasn't supposed to cast me anything at all for parts and she became sarcastic and said " It don't cover shipping! " I told her again that I wanted to speak to her supervisor and she said " I'll have her call you! " I said , you do that. I have had cancer and taken chemo and been pretty beat down in life at times but your employees and your company make me feel about as miserable as those cancer days. It's like they have no accountability for their actions! I want to know why I was lied to about when I was going to get my part so I could fix my water heater. I want to know why your employees are so rude to your customers and I want know how you would feel if you had to do without hot water for an extra * days all because your employees were to lazy to do their job and do what they promised. I intend on letting everyone I know about your poor customer service and the experience I've had! I called Wednesday and not going to have hot water until the following Tuesday! GOOD JOB CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
