I need assistance with two issues concerning our refrigerator. Firstly, our WRS321SDHZ fridge (Serial # HR[redacted]7), which is only 3 months old, is freezing items on the top shelf, regardless of the fresh food setting selected. The manual is unclear regarding the temperature settings, making it challenging to troubleshoot. Secondly, the fridge emits a bothersome buzzing noise in addition to the usual humming and fan sounds. The noise starts loudly when the motor kicks in and persists at a softer but still irritating level for extended periods, affecting the ambiance in the kitchen. I would appreciate guidance on whether the unit requires servicing, replacement with the same model or a different one with similar dimensions, or any other available options to address these issues.

Last week in Massachusetts, I saw the Whirlpool French Door Refrigerator model # WRF532MHZ on sale for $1,[redacted].00 with a rebate offer of $[redacted]. Unfortunately, I reside in New York and frequent Curtos Appliances in Yonkers. Upon returning home, I visited Curtos to order the refrigerator and a dishwasher model # WDT750SAHZ. However, the $[redacted].00 rebate was not included in the listing. I have a 36-inch stainless steel Whirlpool refrigerator with water and ice dispenser that I purchased about 5 years ago and have been pleased with. This positive experience led me back to Whirlpool. As senior citizens, my wife and I always seek out sales, which was another reason for choosing Whirlpool. Would it be possible to assist me in receiving the $[redacted].00 rebate? Thank you.

I bought a refrigerator/freezer from Home Depot in [redacted] with an extended warranty. It completely stopped working on 9/29/18, and after a service technician came, they determined it needs a new main board and hi-voltage board, but the hi-voltage board is on back order. My 91-year-old mother, H.L., who lives alone in Marco Island, FL, has been inconvenienced since 9/29, having to buy ice daily for refrigeration. Despite contacting Home Depot and the warranty service, no one has followed up as promised. I've even reached out to supervisors to no avail. I was informed that the Whirlpool rep is handling it, but I haven't received any updates. I've now sought help from a local news station. It's concerning that in such situations, a replacement should be considered promptly for safety reasons. Whirlpool and Home Depot's lack of action is disappointing. Whirlpool should replace the appliance. Please contact me at [redacted] to discuss further.

I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator model WRS555SIHB00 from Best Buy, which was installed on June 26, [redacted]. Unfortunately, during delivery, the walls and front door were damaged due to the delivery personnel not removing the fridge doors as requested. Best Buy resolved the issue by providing a $[redacted] check, but the damages exceed this amount. Upon returning from vacation in August, I found the ice maker frozen and unusable. A repairman diagnosed a heater issue and assured a replacement fridge. Despite several delivery attempts, a functional refrigerator has not been successfully delivered, as the doors were not taken off and reattached as promised. I was informed a specialist and warehouse manager would contact me, but no one has reached out. Simply seeking assistance in having a working fridge delivered properly as originally promised.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessionalism of your customer service department. I was looking to purchase a Whirlpool refrigerator in Solan, HP, and contacted your service department for assistance. Unfortunately, the customer care representatives provided me with information for dealers who are not affiliated with Whirlpool. Despite being given contact numbers for Mr. AMarjeet ([redacted]) and Ms. Manju ([redacted]8), they never answered my calls. Even reaching out to your Gurgaon office at ([redacted]0) was fruitless as they did not respond and left me on hold. This experience has led me to reconsider purchasing the Whirlpool refrigerator ([redacted] L) I was interested in. I urge you to review and improve your team to prevent future customers from losing interest in your products, potentially resulting in a decline in market presence. I sincerely hope to see positive changes soon.

I recently purchased a Whirlpool double electric oven with the model number WODA7EC0HZ. I was misinformed about the ability to use the keep warm feature in Shabbat mode. Upon reading the user manual, it appears that Shabbat mode can only be used with bake mode, which is not what I was told. I rely on using the keep warm feature from Friday afternoon until Saturday night and need to bypass the 12-hour auto shutoff that only Shabbat mode seems to override. Is there any way to use the keep warm feature in this case? Another query I have pertains to Wi-Fi capabilities. Does the oven come with Wi-Fi features, or do I need a separate Wi-Fi service? Your guidance on these matters would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, A. Dwek.

Subject: Request for Refrigerator Replacement
Dear Sir,
I am writing to bring to your attention our longstanding satisfaction with Whirlpool products, such as the refrigerator, washing machine, and AC, that our family has been using for quite some time.
I purchased a refrigerator, Model no. M70103PDG, SR. No. INC[redacted]77, from Sarbamangala Electronics in Burdwan, WB-[redacted], on 06-04-[redacted]. Initially, it worked well. However, in March [redacted], an issue arose. Upon contacting the Whirlpool service center, they found that the compressor was faulty and replaced it.
Despite my diligent care, after 3 years and 7 months, the lower front, back, and sides of the refrigerator have started rusting and wearing out (photo attached). After a recent visit from a service representative on 07-11-[redacted], who recommended replacing the unit after noting the issue in the job sheet, I kindly request a replacement.
I trust in Whirlpool's commitment to its products and customers, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance with this matter.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
M.H. Mondal

Dear Whirlpool Customer Service,
I have been a long-time supporter of Whirlpool appliances due to my family's loyalty to the brand. However, after spending over $10,[redacted] on Whirlpool Gold Energy Star appliances in [redacted], I have been disappointed with the quality and performance. The numerous issues I have encountered, especially with my Cabrio Platinum washer, have been frustrating. Despite multiple repairs under warranty, the problems have persisted, leaving me with a broken appliance and a costly repair estimate.
As a single individual, the reliability of my appliances is crucial. I am considering purchasing a new washer and would like to stick with Whirlpool for consistency with my other appliances. However, given the recent troubles and the expiration of my warranty, I am reaching out to see if there is any way Whirlpool could assist me with this situation. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Sarah ("Susie") S.

I bought three Whirlpool appliances from FW Blacks in Kingston, Ontario, Canada - a Refrigerator, Stove, and Dishwasher - delivered on April 28, [redacted]. The issue is with the Refrigerator, model # WRF560SFYW04, serial # VS[redacted]2. The freezer started making noise due to frozen coils, affecting the fan. After defrosting, the defrost cycle briefly worked, but the refrigerator stopped cooling, and vents frosted over, blocking airflow. Disappointed that a 3 1/2-year-old unit failed so soon, as our past refrigerators usually lasted over 10 years. We've decided to buy a new fridge from another brand and ordered a new "board" to fix this one, costing about $[redacted] plus tax. Considering not purchasing Whirlpool again. Any help regarding the replacement "board" #W[redacted]6 would be appreciated. Thank you, Barry L.

I bought the 36-inch Wide Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator model WRF550CDHZ. I connected the water line to my RO filter and noticed the slow water stream from the dispenser due to back pressure. I intended to replace the filter with the bypass plug, only to find out it's not included with the refrigerator. The plug is no longer available for purchase separately. I was directed to order a $90 part just to get the bypass plug, which seems excessive compared to the actual cost of the part. I hope there's a way to obtain the bypass plug at a more reasonable price, like it should have been provided initially with the appliance.

I own a Whirlpool dryer with model number WED75HEFW1 and serial number M[redacted]4.
The retail installer incorrectly connected both the neutral and ground cord conductors under the neutral lug of the power terminal strip. As a result, the electronic display has gone blank, and the dryer is no longer functioning. This is the second time they have made this mistake, and it has led to the same issue with the display and the dryer not turning on. The dryer's pigtail is a 4-prong, indicating that the neutral and ground conductors should be separated during installation. I would like to know if this incorrect electrical connection could have caused the problem with the display and the dryer not working. Thank you.

I recently received a Whirlpool slide-in range with AquaLift steam cleaning on 11/30. The Aqua Steam cleaning feature is not meeting our expectations. Even after running it twice, there is still residue present, which is tough for us at 77 years old to clean due to the bending and exertion required. We prefer a self-cleaning oven for easier maintenance, especially considering the challenges seniors face with this system. Despite this issue, we are pleased with the convection feature and overall performance of the range. We also had a Whirlpool refrigerator and convection microwave delivered simultaneously. We kindly request an exchange for a self-cleaning oven model. Thank you for considering our situation.

On December 25, [redacted], I placed an order online for two EDR1RXD2 filters with the order number FOS[redacted], totaling $[redacted].25 with tax and shipping included. I was expecting the order to arrive on January 2, [redacted]. Surprisingly, on the evening of December 27, [redacted], I received an offer from everydropwater.com for new filters at 20% off with free shipping, the same site I ordered from just two days before without receiving my order yet.
Upon calling Customer Service at 1-[redacted] to request a credit for the price difference ($88.67 offered in the promotion letter), I spoke with a representative named Shane. Despite my explanation, Shane was uncooperative and refused to assist or provide a reason for the discrepancy. Despite my attempts to escalate the matter to a supervisor, Shane was unwilling to help. This treatment was unacceptable considering my loyalty as a customer. This experience could have been handled better, and I hope for a resolution.
Sincerely,

I had a Whirlpool energysmart 50 gallon water heater installed on 5-30-[redacted], bought from Lowe's Home Improvement in Lenoir, N.C. The model #ES50R92-45D, serial #[redacted][redacted], came with a 9-year warranty. Costing $[redacted].07, the warranty and energy efficiency were key factors in my decision. In early December, it stopped producing hot water. After contacting customer service, I was informed the earliest service call available was on December 19, [redacted]. Despite multiple calls, no immediate solution was given. Local plumbers were not familiar with the water heater, and getting parts seemed challenging. Disappointed with the delay and lack of clarity, I opted to replace the heater with another brand. A refund or some compensation for the inconvenience would have been appreciated. A reassessment of the service company, A and E Factory Service, is recommended. It's vital for companies to uphold their promises and provide timely solutions for their customers.Cancellation of the appointment was confirmed on 12-14-[redacted]. -PH

We have been dealing with a malfunctioning refrigerator for around 1 1/2 months now. I am frustrated with the poor customer service from Whirlpool, the distributor "Specialty Appliance" in Fort Collins, Colorado, and the third-party service provider, Columbine Appliance. Despite being promised a new appliance if the repair takes longer than five days, it has been over a month with no resolution. We have suffered through two holidays without a working fridge, causing food spoilage and inconvenience.
I urge someone to take action regarding this matter.
Thank you,

I recently purchased a Whirlpool electric range (model: WFE540H0ES) and an over-the-range microwave/hood combo (model: WML55011HS). The microwave needs to fit under existing cabinets, which only allows for 17.5 inches of clearance from the range surface. The electric code in San Rafael, CA requires a minimum of 24 inches of space if the hood is made of noncombustible material, which I believe it is. I want to confirm this information to ensure I don't have to make any adjustments to my cabinets for the new microwave/hood installation. The current vent allows for 22.5 inches below the skirt and is 6 inches high.

I am reaching out because I am extremely disappointed with the lack of satisfactory response from Whirlpool regarding my dishwasher model WLE09AF. I purchased it on July 1, [redacted], in Buenos Aires, and it stopped working after just four uses. Despite numerous attempts to have it repaired, including contact through phone and their website, the issue remains unresolved. The technician initially promised a quick repair, but it has been delayed without a definite timeline. I have reached out through various channels to express my frustration including the Whirlpool website, email, and social media, but have not received a resolution. I am seeking a refund due to the lack of confidence in the product and its manufacturer. The malfunction has caused inconvenience during important celebrations, leading me to purchase a dishwasher from a different brand. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

To whom it may concern,
I recently bought Kitchenaid appliances mainly because of the rebate offer #[redacted]. Despite submitting all required documents via the website for the rebate, I was informed that the store I purchased from, Sears, was not a qualifying retailer, as the rebate form mentioned "Pacific Kitchen & Home Sears" instead. This caused confusion as the store I visited was not designated as such. I contacted Kitchenaid customer service, who advised me to send a written complaint.
I noticed that the latest rebate form (Offer #[redacted], January 1 - July 10, [redacted]) now explicitly includes Sears, unlike the one I used (Offer #[redacted], July 19 - December 31, [redacted]). The discrepancy is disappointing, as I am now ineligible for the rebate due to branding inconsistencies.
I believe this issue is due to a mistake on the form and hope that Kitchenaid can rectify this error and honor my rebate submission. I appreciate your attention to this matter.
Thank you,

Last year, I contacted customer service about a melted panel on my Whirlpool range YWEE760H0DS0, with serial number R[redacted]4. After discussing the issue, the representative offered a one-time 50% discount on the part I need, W[redacted]1 (range oven membrane switch - black), as a courtesy. They noted this in the registration file for future reference. Now, I am ready to order the part and was directed to Whirlpool Canada. When I called, their system was down, so I couldn't confirm the discount. Can you please ensure Whirlpool Canada honors the promised 50% discount? If not, kindly provide the discounted price, along with estimated shipping, duty, and exchange rates from the US. Thank you for your assistance.

I bought a new matching washer and dryer from Best Buy last April. Unfortunately, the washer had multiple breakdowns and needed several parts ordered. Whirlpool agreed to replace it, but could not provide the same model. They initially asked for $[redacted] to swap the dryer, then lowered it to $[redacted], and later to $[redacted]. After contacting corporate, they settled on $[redacted]. Despite my reluctance to pay for the replacement due to the lengthy inconvenience, I paid the $[redacted]. However, upon delivery, the first replacement dryer was damaged, and the second one was damaged before even being unloaded. I believe I should receive the undamaged dryer and have my $[redacted] refunded. Many representatives agreed I shouldn't have had to pay considering the situation, as the inconvenience and additional costs far exceed the $[redacted] paid for cleaning bills due to the lack of a washer.
