I had the Whirlpool part #W[redacted]4 switch replaced on my Kenmore [redacted] washer model #[redacted]0 due to water filling issues. Despite the replacement, the problem reoccurs. The frequent breakdowns are costing me a lot, creating ongoing frustration. I'm troubled by the recurring failure of this part after investing heavily in the repairs. Regrettably, my washer is no longer under warranty, and the cumulative repair costs have exceeded the price of a new appliance.

I had a repair technician visit, but unfortunately, they were unable to find any reset information for my washer. After turning on the machine, the lid lock engages but then unexpectedly unlocks after 20-30 seconds. The water does not fill up, indicating a possible sensor issue. I am looking for advice on how to reset the washer as it was working perfectly until yesterday. I bought the machine brand new for $[redacted]-$[redacted] five years ago as part of a new washer and dryer set. I can't afford to hire another repair technician at the moment. Thank you for any assistance you can provide.

I have purchased the WHED20 unit twice. The first one started leaking after a year, and the contractor suggested getting a new unit. I purchased a second one and had it installed; however, it also began leaking after a year. I purchased new filters thinking this was the issue, only to find out I needed to buy a new unit each time. After the second failure, I am reluctant to buy another Whirlpool under-sink filter. I am requesting a replacement unit at no cost and would appreciate an additional set of filters. The serial number of the second unit is WHED[redacted]2-[redacted]. We have been without a functioning unit for months. I am currently on vacation and decided to address this issue now. I am considering switching to a different brand unless this matter is resolved. We have other Whirlpool appliances in our home that have been reliable so far.

As a loyal Whirlpool customer, I have experienced severe issues with my 6-year-old CABRIO washing machine. The appliance has rusted parts that fell into the basket, causing damage to my laundry and resulting in a safety hazard when my husband received an electric shock. Despite providing evidence with photos, Whirlpool has been unable to supply the necessary replacement parts, offering only a 25% discount on a new washer, which is unsatisfactory given the recurring defects and injuries caused by the machine. The glass lid also shattered, causing physical harm. Numerous complaints exist about the Cabrio model, indicating a widespread problem with this product. Requesting Whirlpool to uphold their commitment to integrity and customer safety, I urge for a more appropriate resolution to this ongoing issue that has left me without a functioning washer for 3 months. Your attention to this matter is appreciated.

I am writing to share a tragic story about the loss of my beloved Blue and Gold Macaw named Rio due to toxic gases emitted from a new Whirlpool oven. Rio's sudden illness and passing were heartbreaking, and I urge bird owners to be cautious with heating appliances. The lack of clear guidelines in the manual on how to safely off gas the oven before use resulted in this devastating outcome. Rio was a healthy and vibrant bird, and the toxic fumes from the oven led to her untimely death. This experience has left me devastated and questioning why companies continue to produce such hazardous appliances without proper safety measures. It is crucial for pet owners to be aware of potential dangers and avoid exposing their birds to toxic fumes from various household items such as ovens and Teflon-coated products. My hope is that manufacturers will take responsibility and address these serious concerns to prevent further tragedies like this one.

I've been attempting to reach a customer service representative at Whirlpool via phone without success. I end up on hold for hours, subjected to the same music on repeat. I have concerns about a repair company Whirlpool assigned for my wall microwave/oven, as they are unaccommodating with scheduling. Can someone from Whirlpool kindly reach out to me today, 6/12/18? My contact number is [redacted].

We bought a KitchenAid range from Van Reeders in Green Bay, WI. When it was delivered, the delivery team advised us to run it for 30 minutes to burn off any protective oil. Despite checking inside before starting it, we noticed smoking and found a plastic bag, scraper, and sponges inside, which melted and ran down the vents. We followed instructions by running cleaning cycles and burning it off at [redacted] degrees multiple times, but the issue persists. We're unable to use the oven and would like a replacement. We also purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher at the same time.

I bought a heavy-duty washer and dryer on 1/6/[redacted]. Unfortunately, the dryer has stopped working after only six months. The repair service said it needs a new motor. I have been without a dryer for two weeks now, and am quite disappointed. Previously, I had an old set that was still working fine, which is why I upgraded to this supposedly top-of-the-line set. Both are Whirlpool Cabrio. I am requesting a new dryer that matches with the washer. Thank you and I look forward to your prompt response.

We recently purchased the new Sunset Bronze Wi-Fi enabled Whirlpool appliances - the microwave hood, dishwasher, range, and fridge. However, we are facing challenges connecting them to our network. This is crucial for us, especially because my wife is visually impaired. We need assistance in connecting these appliances so we can use Alexa to control them.
The displays on the appliances are not user-friendly for visually impaired customers like us. We urge Whirlpool to make the setup more accessible. If we cannot resolve this issue, we may have to return them and search for models that cater to our needs.
We would greatly appreciate it if Whirlpool could assist us in connecting the appliances to our network and Alexa, ensuring we can operate them without relying on a visual display. Your prompt attention to this matter is highly appreciated.
Best regards,
A. Ducharme

Hello,
I am reaching out regarding our Whirlpool refrigerator Model WRS325FDAM, which is under warranty until 9/25/18. We previously scheduled a service call as the ice maker is randomly dispensing cubes onto our hardwood floors, causing water puddles, despite no one being near the fridge. The service tech labeled this as a "quirk" and did not offer a solution, claiming there is no fix. This continuous issue is not a quirk but a clear defect. We would appreciate either exchanging the fridge for a properly functioning one by paying a fair amount or having this issue fixed promptly. Your guidance on the next steps is much needed.
Best regards,
JC

Our Whirlpool washer, model number WTW5600Xw, is 7 years old. Unfortunately, our extended warranty does not cover the replacement of the top of the machine, which has rusted out around the bleach dispenser due to insufficient enamel coating. Despite being careful with pouring bleach, the rust continues to worsen. This issue falls outside the scope of a mechanical part warranty. I believe that I am entitled to a new top for my washer due to this flaw. Please respond promptly since emails from this address often go to my spam folder. Thank you, Marlene.

I bought a Whirlpool washing machine in [redacted]. I have had to call for repairs for three years, but my clothes never come out clean. I'm tired of having stained, torn, and ruined clothing. Despite doing everything right, I am extremely dissatisfied. The model number is WTW5000DW1. I would appreciate it if you could replace this faulty machine. I would like to be compensated for the lost time and extra expenses on soap due to rewashing. It's frustrating to find residue stains on supposedly clean clothes. After three years under warranty, I am fed up with this situation and the extended warranty from Home Depot. I am considering warning others by placing the machine outside with a "Buyer's Beware of Whirlpool!! Do Not Buy Whirlpool!!!" sign.

Hi there, I recently purchased a Whirlpool 4.8 cu-ft. Cabrio Top Load Washer with digital push button controls, model number WTW7000DW. After installing it last Saturday, I've used it a few times and it seems to be working well so far. However, last night, in a dark room, I noticed a very faint blinking light (approximately once per second) reflecting on the wall from the back of the machine just above the instrument panel. The light appears to be coming through a ventilation panel with small holes. I couldn't find any information about this light. I'm unsure if this is normal or if there is an issue with the washer. When I unplug the machine, the light goes out after about 10 seconds but comes back on when plugged back in. I'm considering returning the washer for a refund. Could someone please advise me on what to do? Thank you, Lin from New Jersey.

I am a former fire inspector who had to take medical leave due to congestive heart failure, a heart attack, and a lupus diagnosis. I have been without an air conditioner for nearly three years, and this year has been particularly tough due to my declining health. I have never been one to ask for help, but everything seems to be falling apart around me. I have had incidents where my appliances are failing, and due to my seizures, I fell on the dishwasher recently. My freezer does not make ice unless I use a blow dryer to cool it down or warm it up. I have reached out for assistance, including contacting Gus Bilirakis, as my disability wages have been garnished by the government. I am hoping for help with appliances and central heating so I can live pain-free. I appreciate anyone taking the time to read this. Thank you. - Belinda V.

I'm seeking assistance with my cabinet-mounted microwave, model WMH3117FS-0, with serial number TR 6 33 [redacted], purchased on 11-01-[redacted]. Despite a one-time service due to issues with the nightlight and the light staying on, the microwave continues to malfunction. The fan turns on randomly, and most recently, I heard a strange noise along with error code F134. This unit, at only 1 1/2 years old, should not be experiencing such problems. Given the price of $[redacted], I believe there may be a circuitry issue. I've attempted to contact customer service, experiencing a 30-minute hold time, which only added to my frustration. I have also purchased a Whirlpool wall oven and now question my choice. I am eager for a resolution and would appreciate a manager from Whirlpool reaching out to discuss a resolution. Kindly contact me at [redacted] to address these concerns promptly.

My husband recently purchased a small Whirlpool refrigerator with full warranty coverage. Unfortunately, within a month, the freezer and then the refrigerator stopped working, causing all our food to spoil. When the service technician came, he identified the issue but said he needed to order parts, which would take three days to arrive. Now, Whirlpool wants us to carry the refrigerator outside for servicing, but my husband, who is a 69-year-old Vietnam War veteran, cannot lift anything heavy due to recent intestinal surgery and medical instructions. I was disappointed when, despite a Home Depot poster claiming to help military veterans, the Whirlpool service department won't accommodate our situation. I'm considering contacting my Congressman for help and urge Whirlpool to reconsider their service policies and show true support for those who served our country. I refuse to compromise my husband's health and well-being. Silvya Manquero

I contacted Whirlpool because the electricians were installing my in-wall oven and microwave without clear instructions on the breaker size needed. After providing my model and serial number, I was told they couldn't advise me over the phone due to liability reasons. Not knowing the power requirements is concerning, and their lack of assistance is frustrating. If I can't rely on Whirlpool for this basic information, I may seek a different brand that offers clearer guidance. It's disappointing that the manufacturer couldn't provide such essential details, making it the worst customer service experience I've encountered.

We recently bought a new Whirlpool washer and dryer from Al's Appliance in Green Valley, AZ. The washer model is WTW4616FW2 with serial number C[redacted]8. After only one use, we noticed excessive vibration during the Spin cycle. A technician from Al's Appliance confirmed this is a common issue with this model. We are disappointed as we bought this machine to replace an old Kenmore and expected better from Whirlpool. We purchased the extended warranty on September 19th but are unsatisfied with the customer service we received when we called to address this matter. We question if the vibration during Spin mode is normal for this washer. Can someone please assist us with our concerns? Thank you, Mike & Bobbie Kearns, [redacted] S. I encountered the Sd error on my Whirlpool washing machine recently. The troubleshooting steps advised me to let the machine carry on, but it didn't. After the dial flashed, I was instructed to select my cycle with a cold wash and press Start/Pause. However, the cycle wouldn't restart with just the Start/Pause button. I had to use the Power button to begin the cycle again. This only worked temporarily as the machine would stop after around 20 minutes with the Sd code flashing again. Even after trying the Drain Spin cycle as per the manual, the same error persisted. I am seeking guidance on how to solely drain the remaining water without a cancel button. Unplugging the washer did not solve the issue. Currently, I have lifted the lid and am waiting for 10 minutes to see if it will initiate draining. Any advice on this matter would be appreciated.

I am the proud owner of a Whirlpool Cabrio washer that has been working flawlessly for many years. However, recently it has stopped cycling properly. After having a technician inspect it, I was informed that the main issue is a failure of the control board. Upon researching, I discovered that this is a common issue with Cabrio washers, even leading to legal action. I want to provide my product details to Whirlpool to see if they are willing to help resolve this matter. I own multiple Whirlpool appliances, such as a refrigerator, Cabrio dryer, and dishwasher, all of which I am very pleased with, solidifying my loyalty to the brand.
