I have been a loyal customer since [redacted] when I purchased a semi-automatic washing machine from your company, which served me well until January [redacted] with minimal repairs thanks to the excellent service provided by your New Delhi customer care unit. After retiring from the bank, I decided to purchase a fully automatic machine and chose Whirlpool based on positive experiences. I bought the machine on 15/02/18 from a local dealer, Tek Chand and Sons. The lid of the machine got damaged on 25/02/19. Despite some initial challenges with the repair, it was eventually resolved on 27/02/19. While the mechanic initially requested extra charges, the customer care representative clarified that the machine was under warranty. However, there was a disagreement with a person from the office regarding additional fees, leading to an unpleasant conversation. I hope for a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. Thank you.

I've purchased the Jenn Air black cooktop cartridge multiple times from Marcone Appliance Parts and Amazon, but each time the cartridge was faulty and had to be returned. Even after a repairman confirmed my cooktop outlet was fine, the cartridges still didn't work. After Marcone obtained a cartridge from Louisville, Kentucky, it finally worked. I believe there may be a faulty batch of cartridges that should be recalled. I incurred an $81.47 service charge unnecessarily due to the defective parts and am seeking reimbursement from Whirlpool as a loyal customer. Thank you, Pat Colmer.

I purchased a faulty product from Whirlpool and faced multiple issues with repairs, losing a significant amount of money and time from work. The JB Hunt company damaged my custom door and frame during pickup of the refrigerator. I have been trying to get them to replace the door as it is pre-finished and repairing it would not restore it to its original state. I am considering legal action and am aware of Washington State consumer protection laws. The lack of cooperation from JB Hunt in Arkansas is frustrating. Despite my request for the door to be protected during removal, it was damaged, leading to a tense situation with a neighbor. I demand a resolution to this matter or I will pursue further action. I have connections with a local CBS affiliate and their consumer advocacy program which could bring attention to this issue. Kay T.

Seven years ago, I moved into my new home which came with all new Whirlpool appliances that had a 5-year warranty, including the washer and dryer. However, in November [redacted], the microwave stopped working and had to be replaced with another Whirlpool microwave. Then in July [redacted], the dishwasher stopped working due to a computer system failure. I haven't replaced it yet due to being disappointed with the Whirlpool products. In early February [redacted], while I was away on a cruise, the refrigerator also stopped working, leading to spoiled food being thrown out due to all the lights blinking and eventually failing. Despite my frustrations, I ended up buying another Whirlpool refrigerator at p.c. Richards in Newington, CT for $2,[redacted] to match the other appliances. However, the new fridge arrived with crooked French door handles and an uneven space between the doors. Although I received a replacement, I am still not completely satisfied. Previously, I had G.E. Profile appliances for 48 years across three homes without any issues. Now, on a fixed income as a widow, I am concerned about the reliability of my remaining Whirlpool appliances and may need to replace the dishwasher soon to avoid further problems. Additionally, the new refrigerator was supposed to be fingerprint-resistant, a feature the salesman failed to mention, and I struggled to get assistance from the store despite my calls. I hope Whirlpool can provide some assistance.

As the maintenance manager at a local college, I am seeking tech support for my Whirlpool ED5SHAXMT00 side-by-side refrigerator. There appears to be a 30-inch water line inside the freezer that is clogged with lime deposits, preventing water from filling the ice maker. Despite attempting to clear the blockage by running a wire through the tube, forcing air, and using a water hookup, the problem persists at the black fill tube. Unlike other models that have a specific plate for accessing the ice maker water line, my refrigerator lacks this feature. I am unable to remove the fill tube without risking damage, and the obstruction is impeding ice production. I need guidance on how to address the blockage at the elbow of the water line to restore functionality. I hope to resolve this issue without having to purchase a new appliance due to a design flaw. Thank you for your assistance.

Our refrigerator recently malfunctioned and we had it repaired. Unfortunately, the issue reoccurred after a month. We visited our local Lowes store in Shelby, NC to find a replacement promptly. However, we were informed that due to the refrigerator's size, it is a special order item and won't be available for delivery until April 24th. This extended wait for such a crucial appliance is disappointing. We believe that the management should address this situation promptly.
We would appreciate it if there is a specific contact person we could reach out to regarding our order. It would be great if steps could be taken to expedite the process. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with some of Whirlpool's products, specifically the Whirlpool Cabrio top load washing machine Model WTW5840BW that I purchased 5 years ago. I have encountered numerous issues with this machine, especially with the unbalanced loads and the lack of an agitator. No matter how I load the clothes, the machine becomes unbalanced and requires me to pause it, readjust the load, and then continue the cycle. This has led to problems with the machine's level and now my transmission is faulty, with repair costs nearly equaling the original purchase price. My previous basic washing machine lasted 10 years without any issues. I have noticed similar complaints from other customers regarding this model. Even my Whirlpool fridge, also bought at the same time, had problems within the warranty period. I am disappointed and would appreciate a satisfactory explanation for these issues from Whirlpool. I used to trust the brand, but my recent experiences have left me uncertain about its quality.

My family's microwave at home caught fire, and I am dissatisfied with the assistance and explanations provided by the lady from your safety team. I would like to speak with a customer service or technical support manager. After consulting a private technician who specializes in microwave repairs, I've been informed that the explanation given by Whirlpool's safety department for the fire is inaccurate. Given that I use Whirlpool appliances throughout my kitchen, I am now extremely worried about the potential for another fire incident. Please provide me with a direct customer service number or contact me at [redacted] and ask for Dennis. Thank you.

I own a KitchenAid 5-door fridge that's been awaiting repair for 13 days with Flamingo Co. in Fort Myers, FL. The repair attempts have been challenging as the system seems compromised with oil leaking in main parts. Despite four visits, a technician stated the fridge couldn't be fixed and reported back to the company. However, Flamingo decided to order more parts, now on backorder, extending the repair time by another week. With an extended warranty from Lowe's for sealed parts, the responsibility falls on them to ensure the repair is feasible. I'm concerned Flamingo might be prolonging the process unjustly. I would appreciate a call to discuss this matter. Thank you, Marcia D.

I bought a Whirlpool refrigerator with model #WRF757SDHZ from Costco on 04/11/19. The issue is a persistent, high-pitched whine that is really bothering me. I've researched that the compressor might cause a similar noise during the adjustment period, but even after running the refrigerator for over two weeks, the sound hasn't reduced. Any advice on what I can do? I'd prefer not to have to return the fridge. Thank you for any assistance you can offer.

We bought a Whirlpool refrigerator, Model No.: WRT519SZDM02, Serial No.: VS[redacted]6 for our shore house in spring [redacted]. Upon returning in February, we found all our drinks had exploded inside the fridge. After cleaning, we adjusted the temperature lower as advised. When we visited again in April, our vegetables froze within a day. We were informed by Whirlpool that the fridge only had a one-year warranty, which is disappointing for such an expensive appliance. We have other Whirlpool products at our homes and have never had such issues. The repair cost is around $[redacted], and I am frustrated that a refrigerator used only two months a year is malfunctioning. I wish to discuss this matter with someone as I am considering not buying Whirlpool products when renovating our kitchen in the fall. This experience has left me disillusioned with the product and the customer service response. I hope for a resolution soon. Thank you, Anna B.

Hello, I purchased a refrigerator from Auto World shop on March 31st. Initially, it was working fine, but the cooling system stopped functioning after April 15th. I reached out to customer care, and an executive visited. However, after changing some settings, the issue persisted. Another visit by an executive resulted in no actual inspection of the refrigerator, claiming it could not be fixed.
If the refrigerator cannot be repaired, I kindly request a replacement with a new one. Failure to address my concern may lead me to escalate this matter to the consumer forum.
I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.

I would like the president of the company to address this complaint, so I will be sending them a copy of this email. On May 15, [redacted], I contacted your company to order a part for my Whirlpool 80-gallon hot water heater, which has a lifetime warranty. The temperature sensor was faulty, and the person I spoke to around 9:30 pm that Wednesday informed me it would be sent overnight and shipped on May 16 (Thursday), with delivery expected by Friday at the latest. However, Friday passed without receiving the part. I called back that night, but the employee couldn't assist due to a computer system issue. Subsequently, on Saturday morning, I was given a UPS tracking number, which turned out to be invalid. The encounter with a rude female staff member left me frustrated as she was unhelpful and dismissive, stating the part would arrive on Tuesday the 21st. This delay without proper communication has inconvenienced me greatly. I am displeased with the service provided and feel the need for accountability and improved customer care within your company.

I contacted you on May 15, [redacted], around 9:30 pm, and a representative assured me that my part would be shipped overnight, arriving by Friday the 17th at the latest. When it didn't arrive, I called on Friday evening and was asked to call back Saturday at 9 am due to system issues. I followed up on the 18th at 9 am as directed, only to be told to call back in an hour for a UPS tracking number. Unfortunately, the provided number was invalid, leading to another call to your company. During this call, I encountered an unhelpful and sarcastic female representative who provided no clarity on the shipping delay. Despite her attitude, she informed me the part would now arrive on the 21st. I requested to speak to her supervisor, leading to her uncooperative response. It is evident that your company lacks integrity and honesty in handling customer concerns. I seek accountability for the misleading information provided and expect a resolution to this matter promptly.

I purchased an oven and microwave from Lowes Copperfield Houston [redacted] two months ago, which are still on backorder despite payment for both and installation. I previously bought a Whirlpool refrigerator and dishwasher from Lowes and wish to match the oven and microwave with them. The items I am waiting for are the Whirlpool Oven: WOS97EC0HZ, Microwave: WMC50522HZ, and Trim Kit: MK2220AZ in stainless fingerprint-resistant finish. Despite being satisfied with my other purchases, the continuous backorder extensions have become frustrating, prompting me to consider canceling the order that cost over $[redacted] paid on April 3. I hope for a resolution as I am losing confidence in both Lowes and Whirlpool.

Hello, I have been trying to reach customer support without success. I reside in a condominium with Whirlpool washer and dryer units. Unfortunately, my washing machine is malfunctioning. I am not knowledgeable about technical repairs, but the issue I am facing is that during every laundry cycle, water leaks out, causing a flood on the condo floor. I am concerned about potential damage to the building and urgently require assistance. I have already informed the building management, who have assured coverage for any necessary repairs. I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Thank you.

I had a faulty Hotpoint dryer that was on the dangerous list. After months of trying, I was offered a replacement for £99. I purchased it but noticed that there are no green dots on the machine to indicate it's safe. I am concerned if I received another risky dryer. Will I be refunded my £99 since replacements are now given for free? I have relocated from CW8 4JB, Number 94, to 1 Church Mews, CW8 4HE. The numbers on the machine are confusing, making me suspect that I got an older, reconditioned machine instead of a new one.

I have been using your product for a long time, but about two months ago, my fridge started having issues with cooling. I contacted your Authorized Service Partner in Howrah, M/s Om Sales & Services. Initially, the technician inspected the fridge, charged us Rs. [redacted] (Rs. [redacted] + GST), and identified some problems. Subsequently, we were informed that fixing the issues would cost around Rs. [redacted] for a full repair with a one-year warranty. After making the payment, the fridge still does not work properly, causing our food to spoil. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to M/s Om Sales & Services, they have not addressed the ongoing problem or fulfilled their warranty promise. We are disappointed and urge you to intervene to resolve the issue and uphold your brand's reputation. I have attached a copy of the bill and challan for your review.

I am experiencing issues with my ice maker. I reside in a remote area of north central Nevada and encountered significant difficulties when my refrigerator was delivered in late November [redacted]. Despite the long wait from late September to late November, the delivery company mishandled the process. Being a senior lady enjoying a beer late at night, I find solace in sharing this amusing account. It seems challenging to receive timely service in rural America, a concept that city dwellers struggle to grasp. My tough neighbors helped move the refrigerator, resulting in a few dents. Though offered a replacement, I declined due to the ordeal. Living self-sufficiently, I urgently require a repair for my refrigerator. Unfortunately, I cannot call during your allotted time as I will be unavailable. Surprisingly, my malfunctioning refrigerator is not even a year old. Despite my frustration, I enjoy indulging in humorous banter. Kindly address this situation promptly as I eagerly await a resolution.

I purchased a refrigerator a month ago that has a faulty ice maker. The ice dispenser doesn't always work correctly, sometimes dispensing crushed ice instead of cubes. Additionally, the ice bin is currently stuck and cannot be pulled out. I have contacted G and G Appliances in Albany, NY multiple times for repairs, but they have failed to show up twice, blaming it on an incorrectly recorded phone number. I spent $[redacted] on this refrigerator, and with the hot weather, it's frustrating to not have ice. I expect a prompt and professional response to this email and hope for a more satisfactory resolution than just an apology for the inconvenience.
Thank you,
R. Rose
