We arrived at Princeville site at **ish (Our schedule was dictated by flight time).*We knew that a room wait was probably but the front desk agent checked us in and we were told that housekeeping had been notified. She did add that check in time was * pm of which we were aware but thought since housekeeping was aware of us being on site that we might have our room within *-* hours.*The weather was miserable so we decided on a early lunch followed by a drive and grocery shopping. Were returned about * pm and still had no room. Soo, we went for a walk in the rain, worked sudoku ...*My husband and I are time share owner in St John, the highest level, * BR loft.* I know, you have many of time share owners.*We ask to speak to manager at *:** and Alana (sp) shows up. We express our four and half hour frustration. She robatically repeats the same line. No apology ... as a joke I ask for a free drink.*No go.*Look, we are not trying to be prima-donnas.*We are just cold, wet and tired.*Yes, we were offered two other rooms on ground level facing parking lot at earlier time. No, not when we have a four star property in St Johns.*We work in health care and strive to provide excellent care And that also involves some PR and basic kindness .*Can I suggest:** Be honest. * Your room will not be ready until *. *Period.** Try to accommodate clients with a room within a *-* hour time frame particularly if housekeeping is aware they are on site.** Your staff is in the hospitality business.*Alana is a poor repersentative of anything that is accomendating.*We would appreciate your feedback.*The Flynn’s*hikerprincess @comcast.net******@***.com
