I was switching from my current cell phone vendor to AT&T and also buying IPhone ** and IPhone ** pro. ... Hello Walmart Customer Service Team,**This is in regards with my Sunday's experience at Walmart store **** situated at W Memorial road in Oklahoma City.**I was at the Walmart center afternoon around * PM for my regular shopping. I stopped by at Cell Phone department to enquire if there is any special promotions going on latest Iphone Models (Iphone ** and Iphone ** Pro). I was conveyed by the representative that there is a special promotion going on under AT&T carrier where I would *get ***$ Walmart card if I switch from my existing carrier to AT&T and join the qualified plan. I was conveyed that I can avail this offer for all Iphone latest Models as I was specifically enquiring for IPhone ** and IPhone ** Pro Model. *Suggested promotion looked promising and I agreed to switch from my existing Mobile carrier to AT&T as I was assured of ***$ Walmart gift cards each for the * phones that I enquired.*I also conveyed that in case I am switching to AT&T then I would like to get added to one of friends existing AT&T group plan rather than taking a new line all together.**I was conveyed to come in evening at * PM along with my existing carrier account and pin details and was also suggested to bring my friend on who’s AT&T plan *I want to add * lines. Representative also checked my IPhone and IPhone Pro Model preferences and assigned two phones under my name for activation later in evening.*I came in evening at * PM along with wife, daughter and my friend, friend came to help out with providing his AT&T account details. There was one more customer at that time with whom representative was engaged at that moment. We waited for ** mins and around *:** PM representative attended us. From *:** PM to almost *:** PM we encountered numerous issues such as :****System showing Phone was not available***When system showed phone is available representative was not having access to the drawers where the Phones were kept, we ended up spending majority of our time in store where *representative was looking for Manager who had Keys for those drawers.***We observed technical issues in porting the number (I totally can understand this situation as it required sync and coordination between old Carrier and New Carrier)**Activation part was almost complete and I was handed over IPhone Pro post scanning of device. I then enquired the representative that how I would be *getting ***$ Walmart gift card, whether I would be getting it physically or I would be getting through mail. Representative conveyed that I would be getting both the ***$ card for my Iphone and Iphone Pro through mail. This is when representative said she would be having the details in the brochure too and started looking for the brochure. Upon finding the brochure representative apologized and conveyed that I would not be getting ***$ and would only be getting ***$ as she didn’t realize ***$ Walmart card offer was for an earlier Iphone Model.**I was totally surprised and at the same time embarrassed in front of family and friend who spent close to *:** Hours of their weekend Holiday along with me at Walmart store. I intended to go home purchasing * I phones and ended up going home without purchasing any.**Request you to look into this matter and assist at the earliest!
