I have called abt this issue many times before with no resolution or satisfactory outcome from the supplier of my landline phone service which is Verizon. Our household on a daily basis receives numerous robo-calls looking to solicit us for credit card, solar energy and electric service offers over the phone which are disturbing & disruptive to our desire for in-home tranquility that everyone should be entitled to in their own domicile. I have previously signed up for and renewed when necessary the federal gov't-sponsored "Do Not Call" list which is supposed to ensure that my phone number is restricted from receiving these repeated and automatically-dialed nuisance telemarketing solicitation calls. Yet they continue every day and several times a day. At this point I am seriously considering cancelling my landline phone service in order to eliminate these calls and their daily disruption of my life (I work at night and sleep during part of the day and these calls interrupt my need for sleep & quiet time. So I expect my phone company for my landline service to assist me in eliminating these nuisance calls by either enforcing the Do Not Call list including the penalties that are promised by the Do Not Call telemarketing law*policy against the violators of the law (solicitors) and possibly including tracking of the phone numbers & companies that are responsible for initiating these prohibited calls. So far though I have not received sufficient action on my previous requests for assistance to stop these calls from my phone service supplier Verizon and no apparent or effective enforcement of my rights under the Do Not Call*Telemarketing Prohibition list. Having provided you this complaint of non-enforcement of that telemarketing law, what can you possibly do for me to stop these nuisance calls for this residential phone customer???!!!
