Hello, my name is Mpho Pele. On the 8th of June, I made a purchase from KFC through Uber Eats. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the order as it took more than 5 hours to arrive. I have been trying to contact Uber Eats about the refund I have not received yet. Every time I reach out to them, they assure me that the refund has been processed and will reflect in my account within 5 working days, but it hasn't. When I follow up with them, they advise me to check with my bank. Upon doing so, the bank informed me that Uber needs to contact Visa to release the funds from the Suspense Account. I am feeling quite frustrated as I just want my R128.70 refunded. I kindly request Uber Eats to investigate this matter, contact Visa, and address the Suspense Account issue promptly so I can receive my refund.

I recently experienced issues placing order #C0045 through Mambo Italian Street via Uber Eats. Despite trying twice, the order wouldn't go through. I then went to Maggiano's for food and later saw missed calls from Uber. Surprisingly, the order went through at 8:57 PM EST, charging me for the previously canceled order. I faced a similar situation with a Chipotle order #9AB34 on July 5th, where the order was canceled due to the restaurant being closed. I received a refund, but was left without food. I am seeking a refund or credit for the recent order that went through unexpectedly. I am unsure why the order went through later when it had failed twice before. I would like guidance on how to cancel an order effectively to prevent such occurrences. Despite these issues, I wish to continue using Uber Eats and would appreciate a resolution in the form of a credit or refund.

Hello, my name is V. Blackwell, and I am an Uber Eats driver. I had around $[redacted] in my Uber Eats Wallet, but it suddenly disappeared without being deposited into my account. I have also been experiencing issues with messages not displaying properly when customers give tips. At a Sonic restaurant, the staff ignored me when I tried to pick up an order, causing delays and misunderstandings. Similarly, at a McDonald's, I faced unprofessional behavior from the manager who made me wait in the drive-thru unnecessarily. Additionally, there was a mix-up with an order at Wendy's, where I had to substitute an item because they left out a Baconator. These incidents have been frustrating, especially when customers report trivial issues, affecting my ratings unfairly. It would be helpful to have a system to address and resolve such situations to ensure fair treatment for all drivers.

I purchased a $50 gift card for Conor Yerbury but did not receive a receipt. It was challenging to find a contact number for Uber. I do not have an Uber account, so accessing customer service was difficult. After contacting Uber Eats Support through Cash Star, I was informed they no longer offer customer support as of April 17th. They directed me to a website with no direct contact numbers, which was unhelpful. This whole experience was frustrating. I hope to receive a receipt promptly. Regards, Sarah.

I placed an order with Pizza Works in New Britain, CT for $24.64. Unfortunately, they were unable to fulfill my order after I had already paid. Although the order was being prepared, the merchant contacted me to cancel it and assured me they would refund my money. The merchant informed me that they have refunded the money, but you are now stating that I was still charged due to the preparation of the order. This seems unfair considering the circumstances. I did not receive any food, and the merchant provided my details to ensure I would receive a refund. I kindly request a refund as promised. I hope to resolve this matter without any issues and continue to support your business. Thank you.

I am unable to access my Uber Eats account because I was sick and couldn't pay the phone service, so I lost it. I have a new number now: [redacted], and the email associated with my account is [redacted] The old phone number linked to the account (which I no longer have) was [redacted], and I remember my password correctly. I managed to log in, but it sends a verification code to the old number, to which I no longer have access. I went to the Uber office at [redacted] W North Ave, Chicago, IL, but they said to schedule an appointment through the app. How can I change the phone number associated with the account to my current number? I always get help at Uber offices. What are my options?

I tried to place an order at McDonald's on Queen and Church around 5:43 pm (Order# 3CF2A). A glitch caused the initial order attempt to time out after selecting 'Place order.' I tried again and the second order went through (Order# B8D59). After receiving both deliveries, I returned the second one to the restaurant and requested a refund. Uber Eats advised me through the app that they couldn't refund me for the accidental order as I had received it. Despite explaining that I returned the food, I received the same generic response. I am requesting a refund of $15.43. Your customer service has been disappointing, and I am considering no longer using this service. It is unacceptable to deny a refund due to a technical issue caused by the provider. Thank you.

On July 25th, [redacted], I placed an order at Sr. Tequila Mexican Restaurant at 7:25 pm. It is currently 9:15 pm, and I have been unable to reach anyone regarding the status of our order. The kids are hungry, we are exhausted, and I am extremely dissatisfied. **Update on August 1st, [redacted]:** I have only received a $5 credit for the next purchase. There is no phone number available to contact this UberEats location. I feel cheated out of $65. This situation is unacceptable, and I am determined to recover my funds, even if it means seeking legal assistance.

Dear Sirs, I placed an order for two Big Macs via the phone app last night, and the delivery was confirmed by your system. I paid for the food with my bank card. The delivery person mistakenly went to Kincora Avenue and Kincora Grove instead of my address on Kincora Road. Despite my attempts to correct this through the app, I was marked as a "no show," and no refund was offered. I am disappointed by this unprofessional behavior as I provided all the correct information, but the mistake was made on your end. I tried to contact your service, but received minimal response. Please investigate this matter promptly. I feel wrongly accused of not being present to receive my order and being denied a refund without any communication. Over the weekend, my son ordered Uber Eats with my permission, using the Uber account [redacted] Unfortunately, he and his friends did not receive their Steak n Shake order despite the restaurant confirming it was prepared. They waited for 2 hours before canceling the order. I disputed the charge on "his account," but Uber stated we wouldn't be refunded as the food was prepared. This is unacceptable. Last month, I ordered $29.04 worth of food. Unfortunately, half of my meal was incorrect. Despite not being charged initially, I recently noticed the $29.04 deduction from my account. I contacted Uber Eats to order from Phoenician Gardens in Fresno, California tonight. The food arrived in two separate bags, one was tightly tied with a double knot, while the other wasn't knotted and was leaking juice. Upon opening the container, a fly flew out into my kitchen, which was very unpleasant. The meal cost $23.95 with additional fees totaling $11.03 for service, $5.99 for delivery, and a tip, amounting to over $25.00 on top of the $99.38 order. I am requesting a refund of at least $60.00 to cover the uneaten meal, fees, and the unpleasant experience with the fly. I also informed the restaurant, and the manager reassured me that they always double-knot their bags. I ordered on 7/28/[redacted], and the delivery was made by Sukhwinder.

I am frustrated with the ongoing issues every time I place an order through your business. I purchased a large meal that totaled $23.14. Unfortunately, my order was missing two items, and the delivery driver, named Feliciano, was extremely late, arriving an hour and a half past the expected time. This delay made the food unsafe for my small nieces. When I asked for a refund due to the situation, I only received $9.12 back. This amount is not acceptable as it was less than half of the total cost. The cold meal had to be thrown away to ensure the safety of my nieces. I have proof of the order time and the excessively late delivery, which took over two hours. I am requesting a full refund for this disappointing experience.

I placed an order on 07/30/20 with Uber Eats (order number 276A8) for $[redacted].49, intended for delivery to [redacted] W. 128th St. in Harlem, NY. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today from Uber Eats. I ordered lunch to my workplace, but the driver was nowhere to be found. Despite texting multiple times with no response, the driver canceled the order after only two minutes, leaving me with nothing to eat during my 9-hour shift. Another staff member had no trouble getting their food, proving the issue was with the driver. I understand the time limit for waiting, but this situation left me hungry and upset. I am requesting a refund and will not be using this app again.

I ordered breakfast from Keke’s Breakfast Cafe in Wellington, FL using The Uber Eats app this morning. After waiting over an hour with no delivery ETA, I called the cafe and spoke to the manager, Heather. She informed me they are not partnered with Uber Eats and did not receive my order. I contacted Barry through the app, explained the situation, and requested a refund due to the order not being received. Additionally, the manager mentioned that Uber Eats displays their menu items at higher prices than in the restaurant, which seems unfair. I hope Uber Eats can address this issue and remove unaffiliated restaurants from their app to prevent others from experiencing similar service problems. I was charged for an order that I didn't cancel. I spoke with the driver who informed me via text that they didn't have potato pancakes, so I requested hash browns instead. I promptly informed the restaurant of the change. The driver confirmed he was waiting for the amendment. However, without warning, I received notifications that my order was cancelled, with a message stating, "IHOP (Mesquite) had already started your order, so you were charged for the food." I contacted the restaurant, and they mentioned the driver picked up the food but never delivered it to my house. I am requesting a refund as I should not be penalized for this error. I'm frustrated as I didn't receive the meal I paid for and now I'm left hungry and disappointed. This experience has led me to consider not using Ubereats anymore due to frequent errors with my orders. This situation has left me very dissatisfied and inconvenienced.

I placed an order at Rubio's on [redacted] University Drive on July 17th. However, when I attempted to confirm the order, the app displayed an error message preventing it from being processed. I placed an order with Rubio's on July 17th using the app. After receiving an error message about processing, I re-ordered. When my food took over an hour and I called the restaurant, they indicated they only had one order from me, which was cancelled.
