Dears, *I had a very bad experience with UberEats after ordering food with them for years and using their driving service around the world for even longer.*I made an order yesterday on the UberEats app. The order had * items for AED***.** (USD**.**). The order arrived in * bag with only * items out of *. I raised a complain on the app, saying that * items were missing. In * minutes I received an automatic reply saying they looked into my issue but were unable to provide a refund. I was shocked as I paid for the food but never received most of my order* hence, I called the restaurant. The restaurant confirmed they gave the * items to the driver in * bags. So I understood that the driver forgot to give me * bag. I wrote back to UberEats on the app, asking them to call the driver as I received only * bag out of * (* items out of *), but didn't get any quick answer as it was not an interactive chat. I tried to find a phone number to call UberEats but I couldn't find a phone number anywhere. I had to call back the restaurant to ask them for UberEats phone number, which they shared with me. I then called UberEats. I think I never experienced such a bad experience with a customer service than with them. I stayed **minutes with them on the phone for NOTHING. I spoke to one person that didn't help at all so asked to speak to the manager -which I really doubt was the manager- he didn't help at all either. Both told me they were unable to call the driver as he said on the app that he delivered the order and were also unable to process a refund. The only thing they told me is to order again and raise a complain on the app, which I already did twice and twice receive an automatic reply saying they were unable to process a refund. As mentioned earlier I replied back to their automatic reply, without any answer at that time. I was only asking them to call the driver, for him to deliver my second bag! All I wanted was the food I paid for, I didn't even want a refund at that time. And the best part was that they ended up hanging up the phone call! I couldn't believe my ears! I then did what they told me, ordered again the * items that I never received from the previous order for AED***.** (USD**.**) and waited for the customer service to reply to my complain. I received a reply today, ** or ** hours after my complain, and here I guess is the best part, the reply was stating "As previously stated, we are unable to offer you a refund or adjustment for this order. Please note that Uber monitors user activity and reserves the right to disactivate accounts found in breach our Terms and Services, which includes abuse of appeasements or refunds.". I really couldn't believe my eyes. I paid my food, didn't receive it, raised a complain to ask them to call the driver and they threaten me to disactivate my account! How is this possible?! The problem comes from them, most probably the fault was made by their driver, and they threaten me?! As I cannot find an email address to write to, I am asking your help. *Thank you very much, *Azmi
