I ordered a meal from Dream Cafe through Ubereats.com. (Order ***D*B). I placed the order at *:** p.m. Because my doorbell sometimes does not work, I looked for a way to send a message to Ubereats to request that they tell the delivery person to knock loudly or to call me on my cell phone. I could find no way to communicate this with Ubereats on their website. I waited for about an hour and then checked the door and found my meal in a large paper sack sitting outside in front of my door. When I started to eat it, I noticed the bread of my sandwich was soggy. I had previously thought about leaving a note on the door, but I didn't want to leave my cell phone number visible to anyone who walked by. I will probably think twice before using Ubereats again. GrubHub makes communication a lot easier.
I trust that UberEATS will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
