I placed an order at **:**pm. It originally set the delivery estimate to **:**pm. It was pushed back from **:** to **:**, to **:**, until I received a call from the delivery driver. By the time I received the call, I was in front of my apartment waiting by the street. **The delivery driver could barely speak English to communicate to me that he had parked half a block short of my apartment. With it being a busy location, he wanted to find a quieter spot that was more out of the way I guess.**From the time I received the call around **:**PM, we spent about *-*min searching for each other. I was trying to figure out where he was-I couldn’t understand him and it was loud outside, and he was asking everyone on the street if the order was there’s.**Seeing that these food delivery services are relatively new, I would’ve put most of this aside, but when we finally found each other, when the gentleman handed over the bag of food to me, the bottom of the bag was soaked through because of the soda that had tipped over inside. It leaked, spoaking the bottom, as well as my entire order. **After waiting about **min for our food, we threw out the food and found something else to eat. **This was my first and very unfavorable experience with mobile food delivery services, and while I don’t think it was necessarily the delivery service’s fault, I think there’s a lack of responsibility of holding drivers to their actions.**I’ll still probably try and recommend mobile food delivery in the future, but not before sharing this poor experience.**Thanks for your concern.**Joe
I trust that UberEATS will make this right and come up with a resolution that is fair.
