I was wondering if someone can help me with additional charges that were made to my account. There were three in total and I only received a refund for one. Please see the following which is a copy of conversations previously**Would you need anything else? These were charges to my credit card for Uber rides in Califoria and Australia while I was here in Canada.**My account is a Mastercard and the first * digits are ****** and the last * are ****. The expiry is ****.***We've conducted a thorough investigation here and have located these charges on another Uber account using your payment method. That account has been blocked from requesting any more trips and we have also fully refunded all charges taken from your card ending in ****. You should be seeing the refund applied to your account within a week.** **As you have suggested that you have not authorised anybody to use your card, it appears that your card was compromised from an external source. In previous cases, this has been caused by, for example, ATM skimming or someone gaining physical access to the card. This person then went on to use your card illegitimately on their account.** **In a case like this, for complete peace of mind, we would highly recommend cancelling the card immediately and requesting a new one from your bank.** **We know that it's worrying when something like this happens, Sandra.
