Requested uber off pinned location in downtown Chicago. Uber driver called us and said she was at our location. She was not at our location. We told her exact cross roads we were closest to and what restaurant we were standing in front of (sign was very lit up and could be seen from a distance). She said she could see restaurant but was facing us on other side of road. Then she told us we needed to cross the streeet to come to her because it would take her a mile to turn around to come to us. We promptly crossed street to location she told us to meet her (where she had clearly been sitting with her hazard lights on), and she was no longer there. We then received email that uber driver had cancelled our ride, even though we were at destination she told us to meet her at. Her name was Rachel. That experience was frustrating and a waste of time. Our next driver picked us up quickly, didn’t have us walk to him and was very efficient. He was excellent! Rachel on the other hand, left us stranded!! Plus she charged us $* because she said she waited at our location for * minutes. This is a lie. I would like to request $* refund. Thank you
