Uber doesn't have a customer phone number that is answered by an agent. Instead, GetHuman-plasner will need to dig through the advice provided by Uber, other customers and consumer advocacy websites like GetHuman. Why was I charged for wait time today on my return trip? I was the only one who waited. I scheduled the ride from the building lobby when my appointment was over. I followed the driver on the app and saw an SUV stop momentarily at the door. I walked over to see if it was my ride. Before I even reached the door, he left and drove around the building to the other door (directly across the lobby from the first door). I hurried out to see if it was my ride. When I determined it was, I got in the car. **I realize the driver has only been an Uber driver for a short time and he said he doesn't speak English. Perhaps he doesn't understand the policy regarding wait time. Surely "waiting" for a rider to walk across a lobby and go out the door and verify his license plate number before entering the car should not be charged as "wait time." *It's not the $*.** I was charged -- it's the principle.
