June **th my friend used my business debit card to furnish a ride through Uber. On June **th i saw that there were multiple charges on my card for the Uber ride. My friend said that he reached out to Uber on my behalf, and told me that the driver got lost and still charged him. After he contacted Uber on the **th, and all charges posted to my account, i was left with a few cents in my account. Today, June **th it came as a surprise that another charge has been applied to my card from the same transaction, which caused my Card to Overdraft! I am going to file a dispute against the charges and file a complaint against Uber for what has been done to me. Instead of contacting me the cardholder or try to resolve the issue, they fraudulently charged my account for no reason, and I wasnt even the customer. Uber is responsible for paying the damages they have caused me. The only acceptable resolution is for Uber to formally acknowledge that they committed this crime against me and reimburse me for the damages they caused as well as the money they stole. After further research I learned that Uber is currently involved in a class action for this exact kind of issue, I strongly advise whom it may concern to make every effort to resolve this matter.
