The issue in GetHuman-tmangan's own words
I used to drive for Uber in Indianapolis, but retired and moved to Florida. I recently decided to start driving in the Sarasota Florida market and tried to sign up. Since they still had my information from Indiana, I went to the website and my account and followed the "I want to drive in a different city" prompt. I filled out the information and uploaded my Florida Drivers License, Florida automobile registration, Florida Auto Insurance info, and a picture of the back of my auto with me Florida plate. This was done on *-**-****. On Wednesday *-**, I received a phone text congratulating me stating my Uber account was now active, and to sign in and start earning withe Uber "today". I then signed in, and it requested for vehicle insurance and info again. Did that. On Thursday *-**, i received e-mails from Chekr notifying me of problems.with my license and registration. I looked into it and found that Uber had given them my old Indianapolis license and registration which were obviously expired instead of my current Florida information. I notified Chekr of my current license, registration,and insurance information. I have tried every way I could using the apps to get this fixed but since I cannot talk to anyone and have not received any emails since last week even acknowledging that something is being done to fix this, I am pretty sure that things are not progressing forward. What can we do to get this moving forward, as I really don't want to drive for someone else, but I want to get working. Thank You for your help and advice. Tom Mangan
