On April 7th, I contacted your company via email, but unfortunately, it did not reach the intended recipient. I have since been struggling to establish communication. My experience involves two contrasting encounters with Uber drivers. The first driver humiliated and disrespected me, even asking me to leave the vehicle before driving off. Despite canceling the trip, I was charged $6.00. The second driver, however, provided excellent service. The stressful first incident led me to seek medical help upon arriving at Atlanta Airport. I have written a detailed account of the incident and would like to share it with you. Please provide me with the necessary contact information for submitting a comprehensive report.

Hello,
I'm reporting an unpleasant experience with an Uber ride I booked on May 24, [redacted]. The driver was supposed to pick me up from [redacted] Rahway Avenue Woodbridge and drop me off at [redacted] Chestnut Street Roselle. However, despite being informed that the driver arrived, I couldn't find them. After multiple attempts to contact the driver, I was left waiting in front of Berkeley College. When I finally spotted the driver passing by, the ride was unexpectedly cancelled. I would like a refund to my credit card rather than Uber credit as I didn't receive the service. It's frustrating that I am charged for a ride that was not completed due to the driver's error. Please address this issue promptly. Thank you.
Best,
T.L.

I have noticed that I was charged twice for a single trip with Uber. I received two receipts for the same journey on May 23, [redacted]. The first charge occurred at 11:30 a.m. for $13.58, with a pickup at 10:53 a.m. from Evening Calm Court in Las Vegas, NV, and a drop-off at [redacted] Simmons St. in North Las Vegas at 11:11 a.m. The second charge was at 11:41 a.m. for the same amount and times as the first. The driver's name was SANGLEE. I am puzzled by how this could happen and wonder if there was an error in processing the receipts. I had a similar issue with a cancellation fee previously, which was unjustified as I was ready for the pickup, but the driver had difficulty finding my location. Despite my concerns, Uber has not addressed these issues, and I have read about other riders facing similar problems. It's disappointing because Uber is a valuable service for those without cars, especially seniors and individuals with disabilities. I hope this can be resolved soon.

I am writing to express my appreciation for Uber's prompt and clear responses to my emails regarding errors in my account applications. However, I encountered an issue when trying to reply as directed to "reply above this line" as no typing screen appeared.
I kindly request Uber to delete both my driver and rider applications, understanding the consequences outlined by your team. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank you for your time and assistance.
Sending my best wishes for your future endeavors.
Best regards,

Today at 7:55 AM, I called an Uber in the DC area due to a flood warning. I needed a short trip and waited for 25 minutes in the rain because the driver passed by me. The driver made three circles, I called and waved but was still canceled on. After contacting support, they only refunded my cancellation fee, which was fair, but when I asked for additional compensation, the service representative gave robotic responses.

I always assumed that one of the key aspects of Uber is to have a driver nearby. This morning, my Uber driver picked up a fare close to me, but since he was on a Lyft fare as well, he ended up going 30 minutes away. I tried asking him to drop me so I could request another Uber, but he only did so when he was already returning. It took 30 minutes for me to finally find a new Uber. As a result, I'm now late for work this morning.

I have two unresolved issues with Uber. On May 24th, I paid INR [redacted] in cash for a trip, despite having paid the driver INR [redacted] as instructed. I expect Uber to address this issue promptly. Additionally, on May 22nd, I booked a trip from Crossing Republik to Aumtara, but the driver was at the wrong location, causing me to cancel. The app also displayed incorrect pickup and drop-off points. I have evidence of the scheduled trip details, which differ from what the driver experienced. I am seeking a refund of INR [redacted] and [redacted]. Despite escalating both problems through the app, Uber's responses have been unsatisfactory, consisting of generic templates. This lack of personalized attention is disappointing.

Yesterday, Carolyn gave me a ride to Phoenix International Airport. Unfortunately, my cell phone went missing during the journey, possibly in her trunk or on the floor of the front passenger side. I am currently in Maryland, and this happened in Arizona. My friends are still in Arizona and can retrieve the phone, but their flight is at 3:00pm PST on 5.28.18. I have been trying to contact Uber regarding sign-in issues since 1am without any response. Time is ticking, and I need assistance urgently. The temporary cell I am using is [redacted], and my landline is [redacted]. I received Carolyn's number from my cell provider, but she hasn't replied to my messages, and calls to her number are not going through. Please, I need your help!

I am a senior and having trouble with Uber. I need help from a person to guide me through. I signed up to drive but only want to ride. I can't proceed because my email is already linked. I only have one email and don't know how to get another one. My main concern is using the email I have. This is urgent for medical reasons. I can't access emails on my cell phone. Here is my email address: [redacted].

I had a frustrating experience with Uber drivers yesterday. I wasted about $20 due to drivers cancelling my trips while I waited for them. One driver, Awais, was particularly unhelpful and didn't speak English. He parked far away from me, disregarded my attempts to communicate, drove off, and canceled my trip. This happened multiple times with different drivers, expecting me to walk long distances to meet them. I'm disappointed and will no longer use Uber. I would appreciate a $50 gift card to give away.

I scheduled a pick-up for 6:15 a.m. in Jacksonville, FL, aware of the limited availability of Uber drivers. At 6:05 a.m., I briefly stepped out to dispose of garbage only to notice the driver had arrived early. Despite waving at him, I quickly gathered my belongings and within 2 minutes, when I returned outside, the driver had left, resulting in a cancellation. Surprisingly, when I requested a new ride, it was the same driver nearby who didn't return for me. After no response, the subsequent driver was 20 minutes away, forcing me to use my own car and park it at the airport to catch my flight. This experience was disappointing considering the supposed improvements Uber aims for.

On the dates 14.05.[redacted] and 11.06.[redacted], I booked cabs but had to cancel them because the drivers were late to my location. I was charged Rs.60 each time for cancelling. I paid one cancellation charge using my debit card, and the transaction went through successfully. However, I didn't receive any email or text confirmation from Uber regarding the payment. Now, when I try to book a cab on the Uber app, I get an error message saying "Something Went Wrong, if it continues, contact help.uber.com." This has left me unable to book a ride. I'm confused about why this is happening. Do I need to clear all the payments? Also, why am I not able to see the option to pay the driver on my next trip? I'm having trouble finding a way to contact customer service online.

My name is Manoj S. from Conroe, TX. I currently have an inactive Uber Eats Partner Delivery account and am looking to have it reactivated. Additionally, I am interested in signing up for the Uber Partner Cab Driver service and would need information on car rental costs. I have a [redacted] Toyota Corolla that I used for Uber Eats deliveries, but it is not suitable for driving passengers. I am eager to get started and would appreciate guidance on the necessary steps. Furthermore, I need to update my driver's license information at the nearest Uber Greenlight Hub, which is approximately 25 miles away from my location.

A few years ago, I attempted to sign up for an account on the Uber app, but my account was unexpectedly deactivated during the process. I am unsure why this happened as I never had the chance to actually use the service. There may have been confusion with using multiple email accounts inadvertently, but now my phone number is blocked from the service.
Living near the NY and NJ metro area, it has been inconvenient relying on others to book rides for me. I am reaching out one last time to see if access to the Uber app can be restored so I can finally call for my own rides.
Thank you in advance for your help.

I have recently received Uber receipts in my iCloud email account, indicating rides taken in Bakersfield, CA, despite me being located in Oklahoma. This has raised concerns regarding potential identity theft, as unauthorized transactions have been made using several of my credit cards to purchase gift cards. I am unsure if this is an email error or if someone has gained access to my cards and is using them in California. Urgent assistance is needed to address this issue promptly. I have contacted help.com previously, but as a non-Uber user, their support has been unhelpful. If Uber does not reach out to me to resolve this matter swiftly, my attorney will be involved, and Uber may be subject to legal action. Please get in touch via [redacted], as I am reluctant to disclose my primary email address.

My wife has suffered a stroke and waiting for an Uber driver proved challenging. The driver arrived late, and after a 15-minute wait in the sun, I struggled to see my phone screen. Once I found shade, I realized the driver had canceled the trip. Despite leaving my wife in the hot sun and not providing the service, I was still charged $10.54. This was meant to be our first Uber trip, but if this issue isn't resolved, it will be our last. I will dispute the charge if the money is not refunded. It is unacceptable to leave passengers waiting in the sun and then charge them for a service they did not receive.

This morning, I called for an Uber ride to [redacted] 1st Ave. After waiting outside for 5 minutes, I saw the car across the street. When I approached and confirmed it was for Mary, the driver said yes. Another person asked if it was for Paulo, to which the driver said no, and I got in. The driver mentioned that the machine had cut me off and he couldn't complete the trip. I asked for clarification, but only received vague responses about the machine cutting me off. I disputed the cancellation fee and it was reversed, but I'm concerned if my account is on hold. I'd appreciate knowing what being cut off by the machine means. The driver involved was Gustavo with the Nissan Murano T728444C on June 1, [redacted], around 8:00am. Thank you.

The prices for UberX rides as a solo traveler have been fluctuating lately during my frequent trips. While I understand and am willing to pay a late-night pickup fee, I find the inconsistent pricing to be unfair and unacceptable. I tip generously in cash, and I believe that the service should be provided without unjust price changes. I have been a loyal customer traveling to the same locations without any issues with drivers. I do not drink, so my experiences at these venues are always sober, and interactions with drivers have been positive. I request that my account's pricing is adjusted promptly. I suspect that there may be alterations in the destination settings to increase fares, which I find misleading. If any more unwarranted charges occur, I will escalate this matter to the BBB. My frequent destinations include Iron Lady Fitness, AJs, Walmart, and Juana's, all located in Florida.

Dear Mr. Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO,
My name is Barry Halpern, and I am 85 years old, living on Social Security. I recently sold my car in March [redacted], and upon reviewing my bank statement for May [redacted], I discovered two charges related to Uber rides on 5/3/18. One charge was $75.58 for a trip from my home to Holy Cross Hospital for a medical procedure, and the second charge was $71.24 for the return trip from the hospital to my one-bedroom condo.
I typically select the standard Economy rate for all my Uber rides as I did not notice an option for expedited charges. I tried the Express Pool service once to save money, but due to my use of a walker, it was challenging to meet the driver.
I am hoping to rectify this situation, which was an oversight on my part. Is there any way to adjust these charges accordingly?
Respectfully yours,
Barry Halpern
