No tracking information available since June **, ****: Where is my package?**Hello,*I have made numerous calls to customer service, Consumer Affairs, and my local post office, however, no one had been able to answer my questions. I am the intended recipient of an inbound international priority mail parcel EN*********JP that was processed through ISC Chicago facility at **:** am on June **, **** according to the USPS tracking website. There is no additional tracking information available since that entry.**When I initially called customer service at *-***-ask-USPS, the representative told me that technically, the package has not been turned over to USPS because it hasn’t been cleared by customs, therefore, USPS can’t track something they don’t yet have in their possession. He also told me that ISC is a customs facility, which I knew was not true because I was looking at the USPS website at the time of the call which clearly states that ISC Chicago is a USPS facility.**Next, I called USPS International customer service at *-***-***-**** and was told that my package must be with Chicago Customs and that’s why there is no further tracking information available. I explained that the tracking information for my other international inbound packages have always said “inbound to customs” or something similar when the package has been processed through the ISC facility and turned over to customs. The tracking information for this package, however, does not say anything other than processed through ISC Chicago facility on June **, ****, therefore, there is no record that my package has made it to customs* if you look solely at the tracking website, it appears that my package is “stuck” in the ISC warehouse and hasn’t moved at all. She still insisted that my package was with Chicago customs.**I then called the Chicago O’Hare customs office at (***) ***-***** Ext. *, and the officer who answered the phone told me that USPS customer service is wrong. He pointed out that the last entry on the USPS tracking website says “processed through ISC Chicago facility” so there is nothing to suggest that the package has been turned over to customs for clearance. He further advised me that unless the USPS tracking website shows “Inbound to Customs” or “Held by Customs”, then there is no proof that customs has even received my package, much less detained my package. If the tracking website shows “detained by customs”, then I can call back but otherwise, I need to go back to USPS customer service because the last entry says “processed through Chicago ISC facility” on June **, ****, which is a USPS facility and not a customs facility.**I also submitted a search inquiry on the USPS website under the “Contact Us” section, “Where is my package?”. On June **, ****, I received a phone call from the Rich Hill Post Office responding to my online inquiry. She said that she doesn’t know why my case was forwarded to her because the package isn’t in Houston and she is unable to help me. After her call, I received an email notifying me that my case had been “closed”.**I also called the USPS Chicago Consumer Affairs office *(***) ***-*****, but was told by the woman who answered my call (Ms. Johnson) that because I am not a Chicago resident, she is not obligated to help me and she referred me to the USPS Houston Consumer Affairs office (I live in Houston and my package’s final destination is in Houston.)**Subsequently, I phoned the USPS Houston Consumer Affairs office at (***) ***-****. The representative who took my call said she would follow up with Chicago and call me back with information on my package’s whereabouts. The next day, she called me back and apologized for not having any additional information to share with me about the location of my package and advised me to “just be patient” because “it will probably show up eventually”.**The above is just a brief summary of my attempts to obtain tracking information on my package. I have a detailed call log with the dates and times and phone numbers I have called since June **, **** to the present, July **, ****.**Is there anyone who can definitively locate the actual whereabouts of my package?
