The issue in GetHuman-ritadann's own words
Straight Talk told me my Verizon Moto was compatible and I gave them my MEID or IMEI first and they said sent me a new SIM and I paid for a plan for a month. I installed the new SIM yesterday and it says unable to activate, call Verizon. I called Verizon and they told me that the phone ID IS cleared for use and the number is cleared for porting also and that I'm ok on their end to bring it to another carrier. I tried calling and could not get anyone on the line with their options, and I tried activating online also. It is still saying on my phone Ready to activate and it gives me Verizon's number to call with my account information.
GetHuman-ritadann did not yet indicate what Straight Talk should do to make this right.
