Re-baseline tax year Medicare cost based on. My income has substantially reduced since I first applied. ... My income has substantially reduced from year when Medicare monthly payment*cost was baselined. I believe you took **** IRS return when I had six figure income. I have not had that level income this year and last year. How do I get Medicare to adjust baseline calculation* I cannot afford $****month on gross income of *$**k*yr.
I keep getting passed around: Medicare says talk with SSA and I cannot get thru to SSA unless I have a "catchy summary". Perhaps I will get an emailed response.
"They" - not entirely sure who this is - just need to let me know if SSA reviews Income statement*tax return annually and adjusts Medicare monthly payment accordingly.
I have not claimed Social Security yet, just Medicare for one year. Was hoping to talk with live person and get some guidance. I will try writing letter next.
Talked with Medicare representative.
