If you're having issues with a password, try resetting it using your email address (be sure to use the correct spelling). Click "Forgot Password" under the login, then follow the prompt. You should have the option to reset with your phone number.

Hello to whomever will be burdened with this message,*I screwed up big time, and repeatedly.*I recently had gone to a few sites for downloading a few mods for games, and was dumb enough to fall for adware. I was able to get rid of all adware, but one. This adware was a powerful Trojan according to malware sites, and I had stopped the download at a point where most of the virus was locked in my computer and stuck there with no chance of recovery, but it wasn't enough to be legible as a virus by any anti-virus software I had. Because of this, and my lack of backups, I had to factory reset my computer.*That "excuse" out of the way, I needed to re-download Skype. Sure its the new version that runs slower, but I know you will improve in the future (You improve your programs*products often). I know my username, I know my password, no problem, but unfortunately I messed up on a new step for safety. You asked for an e-mail that I should use for my newly identified computer, just in case it was a fraud who had obtained knowledge of my username and password. You can see my E-mail from where i would like you to respond, but unfortunately for my account, the alias was mistyped. Instead of "*****@***.com", I typed "*****@***.com". To an automated program, the format matched, and it didn't check whether or not the e-mail even existed, so it sent the e-mail anyway. However, I cannot change the typo. There is a waiting time for changing my alias e-mail AGAIN, and all other forms of communication or help to*from Skype either don't work (because I cant login for the Skype Community), or dont apply (such as your many possible issues that have been resolved in the past). Even though I was able to use my phones Skype, eventually it locked me out of that too with the same issue of the typo alias e-mail, meaning I am now locked out of Skype all together. I dont know how long this waiting time for the e-mail change is, but I do know that any human can recognize the mistake and would assume the problem at hand. If you could switch my alias, I would gladly appreciate it. **My account username is teanycandy** If you can help, I will gladly co-operate.
