I called on Friday, August **th about a series ***s washing machine. I have had numerous issues with this machine that is not even * years old. I had the extended warranty, which I explained to the service rep. but did not renew it due to the fact that the last service call had resulted in the instillation of a new “brain” board and the tech. said that all issues were resolved. The service rep. said that they would send someone out to check the washer, fix it, or if needed replace it since the issues all seem to be the same. The repair person, Tom id ****, arrived and ran the codes. He said the only thing wrong was the machine wasn’t balanced. I told him that the machine had been turning on and off by itself (frankly it scares me that something may happen electrical and may result in a fire). He said that nothing like that showed up on his scans. He then gave me a bill for $**. I explained that I did not initiate the service call, it was ordered for my defective Kenmore machine. He still basically made me write a check. He then gave me a card so that I could call and get some clarification about why I was charged for this service call. The number, *-***-***-****, is out of service. I tried calling your help line and ran into the same issue as before, some one who does not understand the language. She tried to reschedule another appointment, tried to get a delivery date set up for something( no clue), and finally transferred me to a different line that promptly disconnected me. Seriously Sears, I know why you are having problems.
