BOOKING REF:R*GPVK*My flight FR**** on Friday **th October was cancelled approx * *** hours prior to departure. I am a ** year old lady stranded at Glasgow Airport, air side, with no one in sight to help. I eventually got to the Ryanair desk to be told the next available flight was FR**** on Sunday **th of October. I was then stranded at Glasgow Airport for * days. I spoke to the Ryanair respresentative told her my friends(who I had been staying with) would come back from Dunoon and pick me up and let me stay with them until Sunday, but I would have to pay for the return ferry fare and petrol, she said as long as I kept the receipts Ryanair WOULD pay for this. When I submitted the receipts they were declined as they were for TRAVEL and not accomodation, the total cost was £**.** if I had stayed in a hotel for those two days the cost would have been much higher. I also claimed for a taxi fare on my return home as the last bus had gone at **.** and as it was then **.** I could not walk * miles with a suitcase, and through no fault of mine I had to get a taxi,a cost of £**. which Ryanair also declined to pay as I was back in England.*As I was told I could charge for the Ferry fare and petrol I would like this reimbursed, and as the taxi fare was a expense that I would not have incurred had the flight arrived within public transport time as it would have done on the Friday flight I would also like to be reimbursed with this. The total cost is £**.** which I am sure you will agree is much cheaper than accomodation and food in Glasgow for two days and night.
