I wanted to find out how to complete the check-in process. ... I have received an email from Ryanair inviting me to check in for a flight to Pisa.**I have filled in all the details on their forms and I am happy with the seat that has been assigned to me.**However the online booking process gets as far as stage * and the Confirm button is greyed out.**None of their website links for live chat or telephone numbers work.
Their website does not function in a sensible way and it is badly designed. They have links to on-line chat which do nothing.**I also tried the telephone contact link this morning which also led nowhwere. Now it sports the question "where are you calling from? underneath of which is some text "Learn more" which does not look like a link. There should instead be an obvious drop down box listing possible locations. Then it would be clear.
This ought to be very simple. After reading more carefully: Can I complete check-in if I do not want to change my allocated seat?**If the answer is no, then again:***. The website design fails because it does not allow you to state that you do not want to change.***. Why keep sending sending me emails to check in when the system does not allow it?
I have been very patient and have been prepared to offer constructive comments on how they could improve their service.
I did try the numbers, but they all had long waiting times.**I have now managed to get to the live chat window. After typing a bit it then shows a window saying no agents available, then reverts to the live chat window. I have managed to type an intro, and now the live chat window says the wait time is ** minutes! I have left the window open and the wait time is decreasing.**Eventually got through. Apparently need to check in both directions. But then saw link that I could print boarding pass and have done so. So now checked in. *Problem solved.
