Priceline Trip Number: ***-***-***-****When I got there, they refused to accept the card on file that the room was booked with for deposit. That never happened with any other booking I've done with priceline. I actually decided on Days Inn because of my past stay at another Days Inn but it's "different owners" is their exuse. They needed a psychical card or *** cash. Now I understand if I wanted to use info from a different card, but the same card that's already on file is a problem? So on that note I couldn't check in. If I was warned before booking that different measures are applied, I wouldn't have booket this hotel and go with a different one. Never expected this especially from a franchise I've used in the past. To cancel they want to charge me one nights stay but that is ridiculous. It was a civil discussion, I've explained my situation and I believe most would agree this is reasonable to waive. i got there within half hour of the booking so they did not hold the room for days or hours, not even an hour, and I've never gotten a key and entered any room therefore there's no cleaning or disinfecting to be done. This hotel got me very frustrated trying to force money for nothing and would be lying that I cost them another booking. The hotels are practically empty, there was only a few cars parked in the entire parking lot (I drove around the building to look) so with most rooms empty and the booking lasting only half hour at the time, she could've been professional about this. i will never overlook the rating system again. As far as resolution, I just don't want to pay a ** dollar fee that's deem unfair, I still want to book another hotel thru priceline but won't be able to afford that with the tight budget if I have to pay the cancellation to current booking
