Hello. My name is Esther Robbins. **My ticket * is ***********. My request number is ***********--I have already spoken with a representative in your call center. **My flight from Rome to Belgrade (***), Serbia was delayed more than one and *** hours and THAT caused me to miss all my other flights coming home on ***-***. The only option that was given me was to buy new tickets home (at my expense). This cost me $ US ****.**. I do not believe that I should have to pay for this error. Air Serbia was late, and many people in the airport in both Rome and in Belgrade told me that this airline is ALWAYS late---this is a known situation. **Because it is known, Priceline should not do business with them and or*should WARN everyone about this. I never would have booked with them! I believe that it is reprehensible that Priceline does business with them and "sets up" customers to miss flights and incur high costs of last minute bookings to get home. It should NOT be I, the customer, who pays for this. **There is already a request in to have Air Serbia refund me, but that will just be for a fraction of the costs I incurred. Priceline needs to make things right and refund me for the full $****.**. **I am also quite frustrated that I am only able to reach the call center (in the Philippines as far as I can tell). I would like to speak with someone in your USA, Connecticut office. So far, no matter what number I call, I just get the call center. This is not satisfactory. I WOULD like to hear back from you ASAP re this. I intend to pursue this matter in every way that I can. * *When I was stuck in Belgrade Airport, it seemed that everyone was trying to "pass the buck"---I was urged onto the airplane in Rome (although more than *.* hours late) with the assurance that I would make the connection---in Belgrade they sighed and said that I should not have been told that. In Belgrade there was NO AIR SERBIA desk nor representative that could help me. There was NO ONE who could resolve my problem This is unconscionable---Priceline should not send travelers to an airport using tan airline that has no representative to assist in these situations. Calls were made for me by an airport employee, but as she was explaining the situation, the call was dropped (was she hung up on??)* at that point she told me that there was no way she could help me. I was stuck there with no correct money for the country and no ability to speak Serbian. They did offer to send me to a hotel for the night---but that would have made my ultimate ability to fly out the next morning impossible! It was * AM when the last person told me that there was nothing that he*she could do for me. I was at that point crying in front of strangers and had no idea what to do. I had been awake for nearly ** hours---I stayed in the airport (very uncomfortably) and at past * AM had to purchase tickets from Lufthansa for my own way home. This was costly (the aforementioned $****.**) and simply WRONG. I want to move forward with a complaint and a request for Priceline to *** refund me the full purchase price of these tickets, *** stop doing business with Air Serbia, *** If you will not stop doing business with Air Serbia, then this particular late night flight from Rome to Belgrade (which is apparently frequently late) should be listed as "flight which is consistently late" so that customers do NOT book it unless they are ending their travels in Belgrade. *** I would like Priceline to provide a phone number for customer service that does NOT send customers to the call center in the Philippines. **I most sincerely hope to hear from you SOON (within ** hours?).**I am--as you can see---very unhappy about this situation.
