Hi**I have had * different customer support ppl attend to this claim and I think they are not getting the issue in its entirety. **On **** around *:**pm I ordered on postmates food from chinese Deli in North Hollywood California. Watching my phone for the delivery as it started would take about ** mins. I get the notifications that the driver is on the way. I go outside to see a car with hazarads, sitting in the middle of the street. I stood there not knowing if it was the postmates driver or someone else. They opened their passenger door and a women stepped out. I asked her if she had my order. She advised that there was a glitch in the system and she needed to know where I ordered from. I did not have my phone in my hand and also was trying to rush to get back inside to my daughter who was in the tub. I told her approximate location for the restaurant. And at some point was able to give her the name. She then left. **A few mins later it seemed she was en route to my home with the order. I am not sure What the glitch was but after coming outside then a *nd time I had had it. She still did not know where she was going. I then cancelled the order as I realized I would just go pick it up myself. **The driver was clearly confused or the postmates system had a glitch. Either way i was charged $**.** by postmates (after canceling). I went to the Chinese deli and paid for the food with my credit card with was $**.** total. The order was placed on **** and my card was charged on **** according to my bank statement. Postmates is claiming I needed to have called within ** hours to get a refund but the charge had not gone through as I did not see it until * days later. Anyhow I am asking for a refund for the postmates charge of $**.** to my visa. The driver was beyond confused she even told me it was her first week. She says it was a glitch or she was just super confused. Either way was not a good experience for me. I have MS and had to hobble out the door twice to talk to the driver who was so confused.
There was a glitch in their system or their driver was not well trained and should not have been delivering orders.
Refund of the $**.**
I order *-* times a week
Contacting postmates directly and I get different customer service staff. It’s exhausting.
