You can also dispute a charge through the app. Once logged in, look up your ride under Your Trips, select the ride that you wish to dispute, then click "I would like a refund" and then select the reason for the refund request.

I want to add money to my Uber available balance and still show pending in my transaction history and the money was already removed from my credit card available balance. This payment was attempted about * days ago and I still have not had a response from anyone with PayPal and the money still shows a pending charge! ... Why is the charge still pending and has yet to applied to my Uber account available balance? Why should it take this long and when will the money be made available on the Uber app.

I have been learning more and more about PayPal and started using it for my payment method for several different things.
We tried to contact Uber regarding this payment issue not being applied to our Uver available balance. They did apologized for this happening since we are very good customers and we use Uber a minimum of at least once a day for daily duties or activities. So this money not bein made available as of yet has been a major inconvenience and it is very frustrating and unprofessional! Please help get this pending money released to our Uber account soon so we can continue to enjoy being Uber customers on a daily basis.*Thank you very MUCH!
How GetHuman-brittgir fixed the problem
After going through a full day of getting the runaround and going through at least *-* different representatives for Uber regarding a PayPal payment made through the Uber app, I finally just gave up on the possibility of them ever being able to or willing to help me resolve my issue with my payment made on their app. Although it was a payment made with PayPal, when I went to my PayPal app and asked how to resolve an issue with a payment made through the Uber app with my PayPal account, the link they always sent me back to was through Uber and it was so frustrating bc no one said they could see where any payment was made with my PayPal Account and the debit card associated with that account. *So after many long hours of attempting to get the issue resolved through UBER and request a refund, I finally just called PayPal Customer Service and once again I had to explain every detail of what exactly the issue was and how the payment was made and so forth, but I know they have to know those details in order to verify the information and authorize a refund. She also said asked if I had contacted Uber to see if they could assist with the refund process. I of course explained how I had tried to explain numerous times and even sent a screenshot of my transaction history for my Debit card showing there was still a pending transaction showing for PayPal *Uber Cash with the amount. After her investigating and consulting with an account specialist to sort out the details, she said she did see the pending charge which was apparently on hols through UBER (keep in mind they stated they could not find any charges related to the information I provided even with the screenshot of the transaction history), but she did state they were starting the process to get a refund issued for my payment. Of course it will take time, but that is to be expected dealing with any debit card refund. However, the charge has been in a pending status since July **st and from what she explained it was supposed to released back to my account already a couple of days ago, but for whatever reason that did not take place. But with all that being said...I am glad to know that someone knew how to get my refund process started and was able to get to the bottom of this very frustrating and exhausting experience with Uber. I use Uber very frequently, but this was the worst customer service I have received from them ever and they basically were telling me I did not make the charge to Uber and there was nothing they could do! Just glad to know the refund is in the works finally! *A special thanks to the young lady with PayPal who assisted me with this and was very professional and helpful with getting this issue resolved!
