Since connnecting to the NBN with Optus, we have had nothing but issues. Initially the speed of internet was an ongoing issue that had since been diagnosed and fixed, but now we are currently experiencing connection issues. For a solid two weeks we have been unable to connect to either the internet or fetch box, despite it saying the internet is connected, when a browser page is opened or we try to use the service, it drops out continually or says: connection fail” or “no internet connection” or “streaming issue” I have not been able to use WiFi at all on my phone despite being “connected” no pages will load. The reference number for this case is: ********. My partner Dylan has spent nearly every evening if he last two weeks trying to rectify this issue to no avail. Issues are repeating every day and a request to have a technician sent out to check the connection has been ignored. We are now prepared to take this further if his issue continues any further. It’s appalling the way we are being treated and I will be discontinuing this service if Optus is unable to honor the contract and provide us with the service we are paying for.
