* unanswered email to Old Navy customer service. ******* and ********. Hello Old Navy,**I wrote to you regarding a situation that wasn’t resolved over the phone and it’s been * week since I emailed you (email below), and I’ve had NO RESPONSE from you. Is this how you handle customer service? Ignore and do nothing? Why do you have a customer service email if you’re not going to respond in a reasonable amount of time? Why have agents answering the phone if you’re not going to provide customer service. do anything? Very disappointing. I’ll have to find a public forum online or social media to voice my concerns..…maybe then you will answer me. Again, if someone would email or call me that would be great. Christine (***) ***-**** or *****@***.com or *****@***.com ***From: Christine DeFazio *Sent: Wednesday, November **, **** *:** PM*To: *****@***.com'*Subject: Fraudulent use of an Old Navy Egift card**Hello Old Navy,**I am writing because even after an hour* on the phone last Saturday ******* and being transferred to a total of * representatives*supervisors*managers and even at Cash Star representatives - NO ONE offered me anything except to dispute charges on a credit card. Here’s the situation – my sister purchase a $** e gift card in July and it was emailed to my daughter. We went to “spend” it in Old Navy on Friday **** and that’s when this “issue” was discovered. There was no balance on the card even though we never used it. After calling customer service I learned that someone named Latoya in South Carolina placed an online order with it on October **th, ****. That’s when my being transferred back and forth from Old Navy to Cash Star and back, started and continued for over an hour. The last rep I spoke with transferred me to a supervisor and I then asked to be transferred to a Manager who finally told me to have my sister dispute the charges on her credit card. This answer doesn’t make sense to me – it’s fraud on an Old Navy gift card – not on my sister’s credit card. AND the fact that it took an hour * and seriously like * representatives to escalate it to the Manager…is ridiculous. Has this never happened before? I was told there’s really nothing Old Navy can or will do since the gift card was used. My guess is an employee somewhere has access to unused gift card numbers and placed an order. Why does Old Navy send the PIN within the same email as the egiftcard number? The Manager even said to me that a gift card is like cash and if you lose cash – you have no way to recoup it – but OLD NAVY knows who used the gift card and she even sent herself the merchandise that my sister paid for! What is Old Navy going to do about this situation? If Old Navy has a gift card with their name on it – then they have to do something when there is “fraud”. **I would love to hear from someone about this situation,**Christine DeFazio*(***) ***-**** ******@***.com******@***.com
