On the first of January this year I reddemed a £** gift card to my account, under the impression that I could cancel the payment at anytime which is what is told. However as I have exams starting in February I would like to freeze my account or stop the payments coming off the giftcard. After speaking to the customer service I have been made aware that this is not the case and I can not cancel the subscription, which is not made aware when signing up and redeeming the gift card. So im really fustrated as the account will still consume my money off the gift card even when I will not be using the app. I am very dissapointed as this is my first subscription to Netflix after all my friends telling me how great the app is.
