I was communicating with Alex’s Toys after They sent me the wrong item. First of all the seller was VERY unprofessional. She blamed her son for the mistake. I placed a request for a refund (which I still haven’t seen go back into my account) We agreed that once she received my item back, she would sent it to me. Last night I messaged her to get an update to see if she had gotten my item back from the lady she mistakenly gave my item to. She asked me if I received a refund. I told her I did not receive it in my account. She said I must have because she didn’t get paid and then she BLOCKED ME!! This is literally the WORST seller I’ve ever dealt with on any buying site. And I can’t even give her a negative review because I was tricked by Mercari and HER into thinking the mix up would be rectified. She USED me and my kindness until she knew there would be no Personal ramifications for herself. You really should allow YOUR customers to honestly share their comments of sellers. Now no one will no what a SHADY individual this seller is. This item was for my three year old daughter who doesn’t understand why she STILL doesn’t have her item. What did the seller expect?! For me to pay for this*Item AGAIN before I even saw my refund in my account?! She probably did because she’s a SCAMMER. I’m so incredibly angry and hurt that I’m not sure if I’ll buy from Mercari ever again!!! I have a sad disappointed three year old and this lady gets to break our agreement and then BLOCK ME? Great business practices! She could have easily said... when I have the item and your refund clears, you can rebuy the item and I’ll throw in a few little extras for your troubles. I would have been more than happy with that. That’s what a NORMAL seller with integrity would do. But not her. I get BLOCKED for trying to be a good person, giving her the benefit of the doubt and trusting that she would do the right thing. Never again. Next time I’ll give a horrible review and let the person try to make it up after, like I should have in the first place. But scummy people like her, when no one is watching will never do the right thing. I mean she blamed her CHILD. That says everything you need to know about this seller. I Just wanted you to know about my experience and that I won’t be buying from Mercari for a long long time. Now I have to try to explain to my three year old who has been stuck in the house for over two months, why her new toy is never coming.
