I purchased a ticket from Albany Rennselaer Station to NYC for November **, **** at *:** PM. My reservation * was **-****-******-M**-****. The bus never arrived, leaving me stranded outside, along with many other passengers, including those waiting for a previously scheduled bus. There was no attempt to contact me or anyone else, although your company had my and other's cellphone numbers for updates on bus arrivals. Calls to customer service were put on interminable hold* when answered the reply was that there was no available information. It was essential for me to be in NYC, so after waiting outdoors for over an hour for the Megabus that never came, I had to scramble to find alternative transportation, which was extremely stressful and inconvenient. As a loyal customer who has ridden with Megabus on many occasions, as well as recommended your company to many others, I am shocked and disappointed that this could have happened. Why did it occur and why were things handled so poorly? How can I be assured that I can trust your service in the future?*I firmly believe that I should receive compensation for this occurrence. It was really so egregious that I'm not even sure what to request. Your fairness in compensating me (financially and* or with extra bus tickets), as well as answering my questions about how this could have happened, will indicate to me whether or not you care about your customers. I hope to be able to rebuild my trust in Megabus.
