I took a megabus from New York to DC on Friday, June *, and was incredibly disappointed with my service. The bus was supposed to leave at *:** PM and arrive at Union Station at **:**. We got stuck in traffic, which I know is no one's responsibility. Around *:** our driver came over the intercom and said "i know this is bullshit but i have reached my hour quota and am going to have to drop you off in Baltimore." He continued to explain that he wasn't able to get in touch with anyone from the megabus office to make sure we would have a replacement driver. We were dropped off in Maryland and did not receive notice about an alternative plan until after we had waited outside. We received an automated email that said a bus should be arriving within ** minutes. We were standing outside in a parking lot with no where to go inside- late on a Friday night in a place that was not familiar to us. Our driver told us not to leave in case a bus showed up, and told us that the solution he heard was that a bus from Philadelphia to DC would be able to come pick up some of us. **To me, this entire experience was completely unacceptable. I ended up having family come to pick me up, which was * hours round trip for them. **Since Megabus did not get me to my destination, and did not respond to us with any level of care, I would like to be refunded.
