got a new modem and now my magicjack won't work

Online chat was no help what so ever. They were useless. I played around with the connections. *st it was connected directly to the router through the usb port on the router. never worked. So I disconnected it and used a plug with a usb into the plug and and that worked. Magicjack told me BUY A REPLACEMENT. All they wanted to do was selll me something. I told them I'd rather opt out. But I got it working within * minutes after spending an hour with them going through the same routine twice with * different guys on their chat. They have a script they go by because both guys told me the same fricking things exactly.
