On **** at approximately *:** on we were picked up at the Oakland airport by a Lyft driver. The cost quoted to me was $**.** and we would be at our address at *:** pm. We were picked up and dropped off at those times. Then, when I looked at the receipt a day or two later, the charge was $** more than that. I sent the following text to Lyft and did not receive a reply. Before I copy the text below, in copying the text to send to you I noted that it says we were dropped off at *:*** that is not true. It was *:** pm, just as stated on the quote given by Lyft before I confirmed. **Here is the text and the information sent to Lyft below:**“This receipt is for $** more than I was quoted. Lyft said the ride would be just under $** and we would arrive at *:** pm. We were picked up just a few minutes before *. There should be NO EXTRA FEES. I expect to have the fee reduced to the original quote, something like $**.**, or I will have Visa contest the charge and remove my Lyft app.**I always take Uber but decided to take Lyft to try it.
