Accept Lyft ride ... I drive for both Lyft and Uber. My problem lies when I get a Lyft ride and I am online for both Lyft and Uber. *If I don't go off line with Uber within *-* seconds, the Lyft is cancelled. * seconds is too long. The Lyft appl shows it was cancelled by the rider. Sometimes it is also cancelled if I don't start driving to the rider within ** seconds. I've contacted Uber about this and they say its the first time they've heard of it. However, two drivers who drive for both also say its the Uber appl that somehow cancels the ride for the rider. They say the solution is either (*) to have a separate phone dedicated to Lyft and Uber or (*) Get theMystro app. The *rd solution which is not always possible, is to go off line IMMEDIATELY. It is difficult to do that within * seconds when I'm in heavy traffic.**My question: Why does this only happen for Lyft rides while still online with Uber and not Uber rides while still online with Lyft? Also, why does it come up as the Lyft rider canceling the ride after I've accepted it?
I do not believe the rider cancels because I'm late or didn't accept the ride fast enough. I'm not even sure its the rider initating the cancellation.
Explain how to avoid Lyft ride being cancelled while driving for Uber also.
* weeks as a Uber driver. Lyft for shorter time because I gave up early on when * of * rides I accepted were cancelled by the rider before I even started the trip to them.
Going offline with Uber within *-* seconds when accept Lyft ride. Also starting to driver to Lyft rider in that same *-* seconds.
