My name is koshy Mathew in San Francisco.Tel. ***-***-****(cell)*I purchased a ticket online for a friend of mine who is a Resident Alien of USA. to travel from Bombay to San Francisco on the **th of June to travel **th June. She went to the airport with all valid documents to board your flight LH *** on the night of the **june. She was denied boarding on the flight and was told this flight takes only US citizens which is not specified on your website or anywhere. *She was denied any assistance nor the agents at the airport gave her anything in writing denying her boarding. I called several times in USA with holding time more than one hour each to find that they kept on hanging up with out any help or advice. At last I was able to talk to Mr. Reynaldo who had the most patience but unable to help as the agents in India had not left any remarks in the PNR. about denial of boarding. This infuriated me and he wanted me to pay the penalty for no fault of mine or the passenger after going thru all these hardships and waste of time with no results, On enquiry with Lufthansa I was told it was a regular commercial flight and had no restrictions in carrying permanent residents. I have no reasons to pay the penalty and I am asking for full refund without claiming any compensation for the time , hardships and financial loss incurred due to Lufthansa negligence and unprofessionalism.
