We purchased an electric fireplace online and it had a delivery date of Nov ** with email notifications. I stayed home waiting for the delivery. When it did not show we called and were told the delivery date had changed to Dec **. We had not been notified. We got all the notifications of the arrival on the **th but it did not show again. When we called we were told it was canceled off of the delivery truck in the morning with no reason why. We received no notifications of that change either. They then said they would deliver on the **th. It arrived an hour earlier than the emails said it would. We noticed the box was a bit beat up and the top had multiple footprints on it (pictures taken). We mentioned it to the delivery individual and he said if something was broken to call Lowe’s. As I was taking parts out of the boxes to assemble (pictures taken), we noticed the base had a broken board. We called to notify and got a call back about *pm Monday night that they could deliver another one today Tuesday ** Dec and that we would receive emails of the time of delivery etc. I stayed home again but as of this moment, noon, I have not received any kind of notification as to when it might show up. With this being * week to Christmas and very busy and this being the fifth uncertain delivery date I cannot continue and feel we have been very patient. I am asking to end this nightmare and get my money back! Just received a call from the store it was canceled again. Now they want me to wait around again for a pickup before they will refund my money. My business will be going elsewhere in the future
