I downloaded Kindle for Mac and then purchased an ebook on guitar lessons that includes audio files. The issue I am encountering is that while I am able to play the audio on my iPad, I am unable to do so on my iMac running Mojave 10.14. Instead of the audio icon, a message appears on each page with audio content saying, "There is audio content at this location that is not currently supported for your device." I am wondering if there is a setting on my iMac that needs to be adjusted to enable playing the audio content. If not, what steps can I take to ensure I can access the audio content on my iMac as I can on my iPad? Thank you.

Hello, I am currently formatting a Microsoft Word manuscript in Kindle Create and have encountered a few issues. Firstly, there is an old title "The 'Hooded Cloak' Chronicles" displaying at the top in both portrait and landscape views, which I'd like to remove. Secondly, there are full-page hand drawings that appear with gray boxes around them, giving them a digitized look. I would like to remove these gray boxes. Lastly, some line drawings created with Word Art in the final book of the series are now scattered randomly throughout the page. I'd like to reorganize them. Any guidance on resolving these issues would be appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.

Since last April, I have been working on updating my Spanish manuscript titled "YEN → YVEN." I had various email exchanges with Kindle Direct Publishing, with the most recent one on April 19th, with Morgan R. I successfully converted more than five .docx files using Kindle Create without any issues. However, yesterday, during my latest attempt with Kindle Create (Spanish version 1.32.1.0, updated 10.08.[redacted]), the program prompted me to select the language of the content as Spanish ("Español"). The conversion process started, but after 5 minutes, I received a message stating it was taking too long. I chose to send the file and the program continued without success for several hours. I tried switching the language to English ("Inglés") but encountered the same issue. I would appreciate any guidance on how to address this problem. Thank you in advance for your assistance. I am faced with the challenge of resolving a complicated situation for an elderly woman who self-published her late husband's books with the assistance of someone of questionable reliability. This issue spans multiple concerns, from unpublishing three books to addressing payment discrepancies with Kindle. The rightful recipient of the payments has not received any funds for years, possibly due to the books being published under a different name. I am worried that the payments may still be going to the wrong person. Verifying our identities and the genuineness of our situation has proven to be a cumbersome task. It is frustrating not being able to speak directly with someone to resolve this baffling situation.

My Kindle 3G is fully charged, I've tried hard restarts and restarting through settings, but it didn't load the books I recently borrowed and purchased. When I try to sync and check for items, it says the Kindle is unable to connect and to try later. This has been happening for 2 days now. Also, when I checked the lending library, it shows that I've already checked out that book. Now, when I try to access the Kindle Store, it says "Kindle Store is currently unavailable." I hope someone can assist me with this issue!

I am having an issue with Kindle Unlimited. When I return books, they are still showing up as returned on my iOS device. This has caused embarrassment because my family members can see the titles I have borrowed, such as "How to Turn a Man On." It would be helpful to have an option to delete our borrowed book history.

I'm having trouble resizing my book cover on the KDP system. It indicates that my cover is slightly undersized, but I can't figure out how to adjust it. The file calculator they mention is confusing to me. Is there a video tutorial available that explains this process clearly and concisely? I find some of Kindle's instructions on publishing to be overly detailed or hard to understand. Can someone assist me with resizing my book cover?

Since my new Kindle novel, "A Midwife's Song: Oh Freedom," was linked with the paperback version, I've encountered an issue with blocked reader reviews. A message in red appears stating, "Something has gone wrong we can't accept your review." Prior to this problem, I had received 12 five-star reviews in just 10 days. I am not familiar with any of these readers or their locations, leading me to believe that the Amazon website may be flagging them as fake. I have already sent two emails and spoken to a representative who directed me to another department, but after three days, I have not received a resolution. I am seeking guidance on who I should reach out to for assistance.

I released a book on July 17, [redacted] with ISBN [redacted][redacted] authored by Joseph Dean IV. Several readers have reported finding irrelevant content in their copies, like a children's book inserted in the middle. This issue needs urgent resolution as I plan to publish more books and reorder this one, but I can't take the risk of not receiving the correct version.

I seem to be getting charged twice for my Kindle account. Last time this occurred, I inquired about the issue. I was informed that there might be another account linked to mine. Is there a way for them to identify the correct Kindle account associated with me and close the duplicate account? I have already raised this concern without resolution as the extra account was not closed, resulting in continued duplicate charges. Additionally, I would appreciate a refund as I haven't utilized the other account in two months.

I am experiencing challenges with my Author Central account. I have encountered several issues and also have a request. It would be preferable to discuss these matters with a representative directly. 1. Sales reports indicate zero sales, despite my friends telling me they purchased the book on Amazon. 2. The ebook is not visible online. 3. The "Look Inside" feature is malfunctioning. 4. The phone system appears to be faulty. I have been disconnected multiple times by the system, and the headset of the person I spoke with was also not working properly, resulting in disconnection. Despite the disconnection, there was no follow-up call. My phone was working correctly, as I had just finished another call without any issues.

A few weeks back, I moved my Kindle Unlimited payments from my wife, Katherine's, account to mine. After this change, I've encountered issues borrowing or purchasing books. Although I received a sample of a book once, whenever I attempt to borrow, I am prompted to return something I previously borrowed. I am certain everything has been returned. Hello, I published my ebook titled "An Other Tale of Two Cities" on December 4, [redacted], in all territories. Initially, the US Amazon site listed it for $1.38 along with the other sites. I made two changes since then. One was to the cover page and the other to the US list price. Originally, I intended to list it for $2.99, but it appeared as $1.38, so I changed it back to $2.99. However, the US site is now inactive, showing the message 'This title is not currently available for purchase.' This is confusing because readers, including those from other territories, are unable to buy the book, leading to lost sales during the launch. Please address this issue promptly. I am also concerned about whether my book has been successfully entered into the Pentopublish2019 contest. Since the US site is inactive, I am uncertain of its impact on the contest entry. Hello, I'm from South Africa and recently uploaded my book to Amazon in Kindle format. I am having difficulty with inputting my banking information for payments. Can you kindly provide guidance on the process for South Africans to receive sales proceeds into our accounts? I have a PayPal account and a Swift code, but both require an IBAN number or routing number that South African banks do not issue. Your help on this issue would be highly valued. Thank you.

I'm attempting to set up my wife’s Kindle account on her new iPad. It functions properly on her iPhone, but we are encountering difficulties due to a potential incorrect password. I have made numerous attempts to reset the password using the email address I think is linked to this account. Unfortunately, I have not received an OTP. I have input her email address in the subsequent window. Additionally, she has a second Kindle account (linked to alison.briscoe1@gmail .com) that is unnecessary for us.

I purchased a Kindle Paperwhite this past August. I hadn't used it for a couple of weeks, and when I tried to turn it on, the screen showed the dead battery symbol. In the past, charging the Kindle would fix this issue, but now the Kindle is not charging. The charging light does not turn on, and no matter how long I hold the power button, nothing happens. Is there any solution to this problem, or is my device completely dead?

Hello, I recently noticed a charge of 9.99 for a Kindle Unlimited membership, which I did not intentionally sign up for. The order number associated with this is D01-[redacted]-[redacted]. While I was browsing on Kindle, I did not proceed with the Unlimited membership. Currently, I am unable to work due to health reasons, and 9.99 is significant for me, especially when I already have access to free book services like my public library and the Libby app. I kindly request a refund for this charge promptly.
