To whom it may concern,**Hello, My name is Jaaziel (Jazz) Johnson and I am writing you guys because on Friday, (August **th, ****), my Instagram page @ja**johnson was hacked and deleted. This is very important to me as I use my instagram for business purposes as well as staying in contact with important individuals within my field of work. I am currently a professional basketball player for Pallacanestro Cant* in the Italian league LBA. Instagram is where most of my following and fan base lies, so it is really unfortunate that my account was hacked because I use it to help with future business endeavors and staying connected to the communities that I have spent time in. People use this platform to get in touch with me, pass along important information and overall allows me to engage with my fans in a meaningful manner.**Here is what happened. Early on Friday morning (Italy time), I received a message to my notifications from you guys stating that my account had been verified. This was exciting for me because I had been working to build my account towards verification for some time now. The day goes on and I get a DM from someone that I thought was with the instagram family. When I went to the page, I seen that it seemed very legit and was even verified as well. I can confirm this because I also had my girlfriend check the page out as well. Her name is Cheylise Jefferson (Instagram: @cheylise). After we had both checked out the page, we went back to the DM because it was saying that my account had violated the copyright terms of Instagram. Which was a bit confusing because I give credit to any and all content that was not created by myself. I often like to use my platform to help others build their own due to me already having a fan base. Or, at least if I am not directly helping, I am at least helping spread my interests and who and what those interests are. So I clicked on the link, thinking everything was fine and it was all from you guys. The message stated that my account would be deactivated if I didn’t fill out the form to appeal my copyright infringement. Once I click on the page, it asks for my credentials, and again I cannot stress enough that I thought that this was all legit. I enter my credentials and it just sends me back to the Instagram page. This is where I am realizing I may have made a mistake. I didn’t receive any further communication or confirmation for the submission of my information. Later on that day, I come back home from practice, try to go on Instagram and it says that I have been logged out. Now obviously because I was in practice, I had no way of seeing any messages coming to my phone saying that there has been suspicious activity with my account. I later find out that my account has been completely deactivated. I have made every attempt on my own to try and retrieve my account but have had no luck. Anything I try to do, I get a message saying that the user cannot be found. I tried using the ‘forget my password’ feature, and have had * luck with any and all solutions I can do on my end.***I understand my wrong-doing in this situation, but considering that I have just received my verification, I am hoping there is something that can be done your end to help me get my account back. I can provide any and all information needed to verify that it is me that is emailing you guys. This email is also the one that was connected to my account. So please, of there is anything you guys can do, that would be extremely helpful.**Sincerely,**Jazz Johnson
